White Chocolate Macadamia Biscuits (Cookies) (Australian)

POSTED FOR ZAAR WORLD TOUR 5. The white chocolate gives a rich taste to these biscuits.

SERVES 6 , 24 biscuits (change servings and units)

    Preheat oven to 190 degrees Celsius.

    In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
  3. 3
    Stir in the egg and vanilla.
  4. 4
    Combine the flour, baking soda and salt, stir into the creamed mixture.
  5. 5
    Finally, stir in the white chocolate and nuts.
  6. 6
    Drop cookies by heaping teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased baking tray, about 5 cm apart.

    Bake for 8 minutes in the preheated oven, until lightly browned.

    Cool on wire racks. When cool, store in an airtight container.

Gosh, these are great! Soft, with white chocolate and macadamia nuts! DH's favorite, and he loved them...My yield was 37 cookies and I baked for them 10 minutes at 375ยบ. Thanks, UmmBinat, for sharing such a great recipe. Reviewed for ZWT 5.
