White Chocolate Cappuccino

White chocolate gives a delux feel to your coffee.

SERVES 8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Pour milk into heavy medium saucepan.
  2. 2
    Scrape in seeds from vanilla bean.
  3. 3
    Add bean and seeds.
  4. 4
    Bring to boil.
  5. 5
    Remove from heat.
  6. 6
    Add white chocolate; whisk until melted and smooth.
  7. 7
    Whisk in brandy and vanilla extract.
  8. 8
    Using tongs, remove vanilla bean.
  9. 9
    Return white chocolate mixture to low heat; whisk until frothy, about 1 minute.

    Pour hot coffee into mugs.

    Ladle white chocolate mixture over.
  12. 12
    sweeten if you wish.

    Sprinkle with cocoa powder and serve.

Another winner from the Coffee Queen. This treat is rich, thick, creamy and oh so flavorful. I loved it, especially the use of the vanilla bean and brandy. What a decadent treat. Which I will make again. Thanks for sharing. Made for Summer 09 - Comfort Cafe.

    So very rich and yummy! I left out the brandy, used decaf coffee and sugar. Great drink, thanks Annacia!

    Thanks for a lovely cappuccino recipe! I have a sweet tooth so next time would add more chocolate as we ended up adding sweetener to this coffee. I love the addition of a real vanilla bean- you can't beat it for flavour.
