Veranda Tea Punch

This punch is served all over teh south on Special occasions. My husband insisted we have it in one punch fountain at our wedding

SERVES 20 , 3 quarts (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    In a large sauce pan combine the sugar and water.

    Boil for ten minutes to make a simple syrup.
  3. 3
    cool.
  4. 4
    Mix orange juice with syrup.
  5. 5
    add the hot tes and allow to cool.
  6. 6
    Just before serving add the coke (or ginger-ale if you preffer) and soda water.

    Garnish with lemon and orange slices.
