Turkey Chowder

This is a great recipe for leftover turkey. It can be put together quickly with frozen hash browns.

SERVES 6 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

    Melt butter in pan.
  2. 2
    Add onions and celery, and cook until soft.
  3. 3
    Add potatoes, limas, and water.
  4. 4
    Cover and cook 20 minutes until tender.
  5. 5
    Add remaining ingredients and simmer 30 minutes.
  6. 6
    Add cheddar or swiss cheese to each bowl.
  7. 7
    NOTE: Turkey must already be cooked. Potatoes should be cubed or frozen hash browns may be used. Freezes well.
