Turkey Chili

Recipe #397704 | 45 min | 15 min prep | add private note

By: Marisa Cormier
Nov 3, 2009

This is a great healthy alternative to traditional chili. Perfect for cold nights served with corn muffins. If you like a little more heat, keep the seeds in the jalapino. I also play with the seasonings a bit to taste. We also like to top it with low-fat sour cream and cheese on occasion.

SERVES 4 , 4 8 oz servings (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Brown the turkey in a med. saucepan.
  2. 2
    Drain and rinse the beans.
  3. 3
Add beans, garlic, onion and jalapino and cook over medium heat til the onions are translucent.
  4. 4
Add the tomatos including the juice from the can.
  5. 5
    Add seasonings.
  6. 6
Simmer for 10-15 minutes, than taste and adjust seasonings to personal taste and enjoy!
