The Best Banana Nut Bread

Recipe #380721 | 1¼ hours | 15 min prep | add private note

By: Chef #1317827
Jul 8, 2009

This recipe is loved by my husband and 9 year old boy. They can't wait for the bananas to ripen so I can make this banana bread! To grease and flour the loaf pan I use Baker's Joy in the spray can.

SERVES 6 -8 , 1 loaf (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. 2
Grease and flour 9 inch loaf pan.
  3. 3
Mash the bananas in a separate bowl and set aside.
  4. 4
Mix the butter, sugar, and eggs until the mixture is smooth.
  5. 5
Then add the flour, the baking soda, and the salt. Then mix well.
  6. 6
Fold in mashed bananas and nuts.
  7. 7
    Bake for about 55 minutes.
