I got this recipe from a friend of mine over 10 years ago. I have used it a few times now with Chili or even other soups.

SERVES 4 , 4 -6 Pieces (change servings and units)

Ingredients

    Sift Flour and Sugar together to remove lumps.

    add baking powder and salt.
  3. 3
    Stir in Corn meal.
  4. 4
    add eggs, milk and butter.
  5. 5
    mix until smooth.
  6. 6
    Grease or use cooking spray in bottom of pan before adding mixture.
  7. 7
    bake in a 9x9x2 pan @ 425 until golden brown for approx 20-25 minuets.

    Serve either hot or let cool to room temperature.
