Tahini Oat Cookies

Recipe #393616 | 20 min | 10 min prep | add private note

By: Chef #1214455
Oct 7, 2009

Came from lilsugar.com, who I believe obtained it from Whole Foods. The number of servings is a guesstimate.

SERVES 24 , 24 cookies (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Preheat oven to 350°F Grind oats in a blender until coarsely ground (some whole flakes should remain intact). Do not wash out blender.
  2. 2
In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, flour, salt and baking powder.
  3. 3
Place tahini, sesame oil, vanilla, cornstarch, and agave syrup in blender and process until smooth. Stir the mixture, along with sesame seeds, into oat mixture.
  4. 4
Drop tablespoons of batter on a greased baking sheet.
  5. 5
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until cookies are golden brown on bottom and puffed.
