Sweet & Sassy BBQ Sauce

Recipe #394543 | 50 min | 5 min prep | add private note

Oct 13, 2009

My mom got this recipe from an old army buddy of my dad's. I think it's fantastic if you like a sweet sauce. My whole family loves it. If you want it spicier, add more red pepper and break them to get the seeds out.

2 1/2 cups (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Combine all ingredients in sauce pan and heat to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 45 minute stirring occationally. As it cools, it will thicken. This keeps well in the refrigerator for months too in a covered container.
  2. 2
We love it on pulled pork sandwiches or BBQ ribs. Try it on meat loaf too.
