A recipe from TAZO Tea and www.kraftfoods.com. These sound different — I haven't tried them, but they sound good.

SERVES 8 , 8 -1/4 cup each (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Heat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. 2
Mix water and 1 tablespoon of sugar in a medium saucepan.
  3. 3
Add tea bags, and bring to boil on medium-high heat. Add pecan halves; cook 3 minutes. Pour into strainer; place pecans in a medium bowl. Discard the liquid and tea bags.
  4. 4
Add remaining sugar and zest to pecans; toss to coat. Spread onto a parchment or foil-lined 15 x 10 x 1 inch jelly roll pan (or baking sheet).
  5. 5
Bake for 18 minutes, stirring after 10 minutes. Add salt to taste and mix lightly. Cool completely.
