wow this pie is beautiful before baking. This is so yummy. I used pecans instead of walnuts. I used 8 Cortland Apples. It gave me about 8 cups of sliced apples. I used only cinnamon and 1 teaspoon since I like cinnamon in apple pie. Thanks Chef for posting this wonderful recipe. Made for TYM tag game
