I have now made approximately 5 different ice recipes with my first/new ice cream maker this year. This recipe is our favorite. The sour cream gives a tang that is so creamy. It definitely makes a quart not a pint. Be prepared to freeze more. However it will probably be eaten up in a day and a half.

DH made this to serve to friends who came to visit us. I thought it sounded like it would be delicioua. I didn't know the half of it!! This is absolutely scrumptious!! It has a rich strawberry taste without being overly sweet. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed it! Thank you for this treat, College Girl!

Ice cream for grown ups! This was quick and easy to prepare. I did increase the lemon juice by an extra 1/2 tsp. and next time I would also double the vodka (just because). The sour cream added a lovely tang. I will certainly be making this again. Thanks for posting College Girl.
