Spring Salad With Gorgonzola and Walnuts

Recipe #396801 | 15 min | 10 min prep | add private note

Yummy salad that's easy to do. I like to use a mix that has frisée and radicchio in it because the bitter pairs well with the sweetness from the walnuts.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Place walnuts and sugar in a skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves into a liquid and coats the walnuts. Remove walnuts from skillet, and spread them out to cool.
  2. 2
Place in a large salad bowl the mixed greens, tomatoes, Gorgonzola cheese, and Brianna's Blush Wine Vinaigrette. Toss gently; add candied walnuts, and toss again.
