Skillet Chicken N Gravy

Ingredients

• 4 chicken breasts, Boneless & Skinless
• 1 onion, Chopped
• 1 green bell pepper, Chopped
• 1 red bell pepper, Sliced
• 1 tablespoon dried celery flakes
• 4 tablespoons butter
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon rubbed sage
• 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning

• 2 (1 ounce) packages chicken gravy mix
• 2 cups cold water

Directions

   Cut each Breast in half.

   Melt Butter in heavy skillet.

   Add Onions, Peppers & Celery to the skillet.

   Saute on medium heat for 10 minutes.

   Add Chicken pieces to the skillet.

   Season with Salt, Pepper, Sage & Poultry Seasoning.

   Depending on the thickness of your Breasts, you will want to saute the Chicken for about 5 to 10 minutes on each side.

   Whisk 2 cups cold Water with the 2 packages of Chicken Gravy Mix until smooth.

   Add gravy mixture to the skillet when the Chicken is half done.

    Bring to a fast boil over medium high heat.

    Reduce heat and simmer until Chicken is done and gravy is desired thickness.

    Serve with Parsley Rice.
