Southern Family Tradition, dressing...Homemade Dressing. Great Side dishes: Mixed Vegetable Casserole, Cheesy Zucchini Casserole, or Spinach With Pine Nuts. What to do with the leftovers? Try Homemade Chicken Pot Pie, Chicken Enchiladas With Sour Cream Sauce, Turkey and Cranberry Sandwich or Champagne Chicken Salad.

To all our first time Thanksgiving chefs: 1. Set a 2 hr window for dinner ..just in case=) 2. Give yourself an extra 1 1/2 hours to cook the bird. It will hot covered for a LONG time....=) 3. You are not Martha Stewart in a studio with a full staff of assistants, Sooooo... give yourself permission for things NOT to be perfect. 4. If the mother-in-law start sniping, pour a full glass of wine, and say....Have you lost weight??? If that sweetens her up, give her the wine and go from there...if not, you drink it. Have a wonderful holiday everyone! =) Roo

Several years ago I had a recipe for pumpkin custard or crustless pumpkin pie with a pecan topping that I got out of one of the womens' magazines. It was not made with gelatin but more like straight pumpkin pie without the crust. It was made in a 2 1/2 quart casserole and I cannot find anywhere. Anyone have it? it was wonderful and lowfat. HELP!!!!!
