Heading to the county fair this summer for some old fashioned fun? This year we'll help you come home with more than just a sunburn. Try a few of our blue ribbon-winning recipes and see how far you can go in the state fair contest. Our members are generously sharing pickle, cookie, cake and pie recipes that brought home the top prize so you can too. We can't guarantee that you'll win a blue ribbon every time, but with all the compliments you're likely to receive from your appreciative taste testers, you might not care!

whoops! Clicked before I typed! I have more Blue Ribbon Breads, just not in the titles, Swedish Rye Bread . This was my mother's favorite of my breads. I was fortunate... I got a blue ribbon for this one too, Honey Whole Wheat Bread ... I just LOVE anything whole wheat! I truly enjoy baking bread, and my DIL is now using my recipes and making bread for her family.

Any easy, tasty recipes for apple pie? I want to try to outdo my mom in the pie dept. If it has a pie crust, it would be awesome...
