Our family favorite is Opal's Pumpkin Pie - yummy!
I have posted a "yellow squash casserole" recipe under my account, (Nancy's Pantry) that can be substituted for sweet potato casserole or it can be served in addition to it. It was taken from a Bed & Breakfast cookbook and it is wonderful. The topping of the cracker crumbs and the pecans with melted butter smells great and tastes even better. Enjoy!
Everyone thinks their mother makes the best turkey and dressing, yes in the South we call it dressing, not stuffing. This is my moms and it is the best. Moi's Turkey and Dressing
My favorite stuffing is Hawaiian Bread-Oyster-Mushroom Stuffing. I love the sweetness that the Kings Hawaiian bread gives it.
I started making this turkey recipe about 6 years ago, and everyone tells me it makes an outstanding turkey...and gravy...so much so, they are disappointed when we travel at Thanksgiving and I do not cook for them! Thanksgiving Roast Turkey W/Herb Butter and Caramelized Onion-Ba #195837
Love this time of year! The smell of fall leaves and hot cocoa or tea on a cool morning. Turkey baking and stuffing smelling up the whole house. Giving Thanks to our Great Creator makes it all come together with family and friends around a well set table. Check out my new recipe for desert or snack. It is the simplest of Fudge to make.....Fudge, Instant Secret....will go with the after dinner coffee nicely.
About (Shirley's Sausage Stuffing) did you mean ribs or stalks for the celery? Ribs are just one piece of the stalk , but a stalk is the whole thing. Lots of people get this mixed up. Please let me know what it is because the recipe sounds yummy and i do love stuffing, yummmmm!
