Scalloped Corn

This is my mother's famous recipe- comes out sweet and wonderful!

SERVES 6 -8 , 6 -8 servings (change servings and units)

Ingredients

  • 2 (14 3/4 ounce) cans kernel corn

  • 2 (14 3/4 ounce) cans cream-style corn

  • 1 (1/4 lb)  Ritz cracker, crushed (1 tube)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper (or more to suit your taste)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for dotting top)

Directions

  1. 1
    In a microwave or oven safe bowl combine mix together corn and crushed crackers. Add the sugar, salt and pepper mix again.

    Place 4-5 butter slivers around the top of corn.
  3. 3
    Microwave for 7 minutes or till hot all the way through, or Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes.
