Citrus Punch

This is a refreshing, not too sweet punch. I received the recipe from a friend who helped with my son's graduation party. I thought I had lost the recipe, but found it taped to the fridge in the church kitchen last week. Adding citrus slices to the ice ring makes it look pretty. It's also nice to make a little extra punch without the 7 Up, & use that to make the ice ring. That way the punch doesn't get diluted as the ice melts. Cooking time=chilling time. -- posted by Judy from Hawaii

So Simple Punch

This is a very simple, but tasty punch. It is also fairly inexpensive, which is great when a large quantity is needed. You can changed the flavor of drink mix used in order to obtain a desired color of punch. I recommend freezing rings of pineapple juice or the punch for use in chilling in the punchbowl. -- posted by ms_bold

Cuban Sangria

This is a recipe for Cuban Sangria that I first had at a pool party in the Little Havana area of Miami. It was made by the host in a large cooler and dipped out during a BBQ and party. It was the best Sangria I have ever had and my wife and I have made it several times since to serve with rave reviews. BEWARE! It is a strong drink and in the summer sun it will creep up on you as it goes down so refreshing. -- posted by Kenneth Davidson

Cream Soda Punch

A friend had an Italian Buffet, so I made this combination to simulate Italian Cream Sodas after reading many punch recipes. I was going to make an ice ring but never got a mold or pan to suit it ... so made ice "muffins" instead. It turned out VERY yummy and I had 3 requests for the recipe!! My very first invention! :D

Cooking/prep time does not include freezing the ice.

P.S. They had about a 1 gallon punch bowl, so I did 1/2 the recipe to start, then had some to refill when everyone kept emptying the bowl! -- posted by Cesia

Perfect Purple Punch

This is my variation of a punch recipe from the Better Homes & Gardens cookbook. Raspberry everything! I've made it for several parties and potlucks and always have requests for the recipe. If I don't make it people get mad! I usually double or triple it and always have extra ginger-ale on hand to pour in when it gets thick. The dry ice is optional but makes for a very cool bubbly fog effect. -- posted by Engrossed

Banana Crush Punch

It is no secret that I am a die-hard nanner fan. I love nanners any way I can get 'em. However, I think my favorite way to have them is in a flavorful drink. This recipe I got from an ancient cookbook compiled by home ec teachers. Miz Knaus (whoever you are), I salute you!! (Passive time is freeze time - it will vary depending on how firm you freeze it and how far ahead you make it. I would make it the day before serving, so I said 8 hours (overnight). -- posted by Redneck Epicurean

If you would like, and no children are going to be drinking this, feel free to add some of your favorite libation (alcohol) in it! This is almost purple, but it would look great at a BBQ party,4th of July or down by the beach! The water's fine, come on in!!!
Lemon-Berry Pitcher Punch

This punch is an easier version of a punch we served when I helped cater weddings. I got it from Taste of Home Fix it Fast. Everyone seemed to like that is wasn't too sweet like some punches are. I like it because it is very easy, but doesn't taste that way! Doubling, tripling or whatever you need works fine I served it to over 100 people. But it is great when you just need a bit to make it through the rest of the party, you don't have to make it by the gallons! -- posted by chefpam

2-Ingredient Punch (Mock Champagne Punch)

I've been making this punch for years. I wish I had a dollar for every time someone asks for the receipe and then thinks that I'm truly keeping it a secret because they cant believe it only has 2 ingredients. It is the easiest, most light and refreshing compliment to any shower, tea or party gathering. It's beautiful looking too and matches any theme or color. You can make it for a few people up to 100's and still, it is a money friendly punch because it has only 2 ingredients. But don't let the 'only 2' ingredients fool you. It's delicious! (Some people say it reminds them of champagne.) Kid friendly, teen friendly, adult friendly. Enjoy! -- posted by teastockton

Prohibition Party Punch

This recipe is from an old cookbook I found. Homemade wine or beer was legal as long as it contained no more than one-half per cent alcohol. From Every Woman's Cook Book by Mrs. Chas. F. Moritz (1926) p. 617. If you can find a bootlegger in your area, I think some rum or whiskey would really perk this up. This recipe makes a LOT! Please keep this in mind when preparing this party punch for your local Speakeasy :) -- posted by Jess4Freedom

Beat Em to the Punch

This stuff LOOKS like beer, with a foamy head, but it is NON-ALCOHOLIC, with a not-too-sweet flavor. It is light and refreshing. Recipe can be greatly multiplied easily. I got it from my mother, who used to serve it all the time, and now goes for the creamy type punches. It is fast and easy to make, too. A single recipe makes about 90 ounces, or 22 half cup servings (if you have the small punch cups), and the recipe can be multiplied as many times as you like. -- posted by AWestCoastYost

Ruby Relaxer - Ruby Tuesday Copycat

This light and fruity drink is perfect for sipping on a summer afternoon. An undeniable girly drink (not to say that guys should not enjoy it as well), it has no taste of alcohol, nor the cloying aftertaste that some overly sweet drinks have. This recipe can easily be multiplied to make a crowd-pleasing punch for your next shower, party, brunch, etc. The brands listed are those that Ruby Tuesday lists on their drink menu (how nice of them to tell us what is in their drink so that we can come home and make it ourselves!) -- posted by Oenophilly

The Best Party Punch Ever!

This recipe will make enough green punch to fill an average size punch bowl. If you are entertaining a large number of people and feel that you need to make more, just multiply all of the ingredients, with the exception of the sherbet. Recently I made this punch for my nephew's first birthday party. To serve aprrox. 50 guests, I multiplied the recipe by 4. Results vary depending on the size of the cups. To change the color of the punch, substitute a different flavor of Kool-aid with a MATCHING color of sherbet. (The two colors must match, othewise, the punch will turn brown.) -- posted by BeanPole
