			<title>Pancakes With Jarred Baby Food - Simple and Very Tasty</title>

			<description>It is a trick to get my kids to eat veggies, so I started using jars of baby food in pancakes to boost the nutritional value.  I prefer the orange vegetables such and carrots, sweet potatoes, and corn and sweet potatoes.  The pureed consistency mixes easily into the pancakes and the flavor I have found can be quite tasty.  It isn't just for the kids, either.  This is so flexible I have used jars of fruit too, but since the veggies are the hardest thing for me to get my kids to eat, I usually use those.  You can add wheat germ for an added nutritional boost.  I like to use the Log Cabin Lite syrup - there is no high fructose corn syrup and the reduced sugar does not seems to reduce the taste at all.  These can be frozen or refrigerated after being made for easy make ahead breakfasts.  You could also use pancake mix as your dry ingredient base, I suppose. 			<description>I tried Costco's granola the other day, and is it EVER good!  Now, I'm not saying this recipe is an exact clone of Costco's, but it's the best I found.  Add or subtract ingredients according to your taste - you can use less sugar if you like, increase the amount of wheat germ, add flax seeds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, other dried fruit or nuts - it's perfect for experimenting.

			<description>My friends and family are always getting on me to publish my recipes; I don't really use them, nor do I regularly remember even what I put into my dishes. I took this dish to a vegan potluck last night, and it disappeared in seconds. This morning I was awoken at gun point (exaggerated for dramatic effect) to post this recipe.... So, I thought it wise of me to comply. This recipe takes me about an hour of prep time, and about an hour to cook. There are shortcuts one may take to cut down on the prep time, but the first time, I suggest leaving ample time to prepare. I have used a variety of nuts for this recipe, all working out well (this last time I ran out of sesame seeds, so I used 2 tbsp of my tamari roasted pumpkin seeds, and 1 tbsp of raw pecans). I also like to make my dishes gluten free for potlucks, so I used &amp;frac12; cup of blue corn meal, and &amp;frac12; garbanzo flour in place of the whole wheat pastry flour, the taste was amazing, but a little more crumbly then whole wheat pastry flower. 			<description>Oh my gosh these are AWESOME!  This can of pineapple on the counter was calling to me, and my husband can't eat wheat, so if I make pancakes they're gonna have oats in them.  Plus, the Tahitian Pancakes came up on Heroes in the past week or so, so that's on my mind.
I combined two different recipes that I found online, one for pineapple pancakes and one for oatmeal pancakes.  Neither one is like this new version though.  SO AWESOME!  
One last thing, I used coconut milk instead of cow milk, since my husband is also on this non-dairy kick.

I had leftover potato &amp;quot;meat&amp;quot; from making potato skins so I made home fries with them, from 8 small potatoes without skins so that probably equals about 4 regular potatoes and 6 small ones. If you plan ahead on making home fries for breakfast, then you can pre-bake potatoes for this. Please note that cooking time does not account for baking the potatoes! This assumes that you have leftover baked potatoes and are using them this way. Raw or boiled potatoes will not work.
