Southwest Style Tilapia

These fillets are so easy to make and so tasty, crunchy on the outside. This is our favorite way to fix Tilapia. I got the recipe from the bag the fish came in. This recipe is NOT spicy & wasn't meant to be spicy. Taliapa is a sweet white, mild tasting fish. If you want spicy add spices to this recipe. -- posted by Barb Gertz

This has a fresh pesto-like feel without the nuts, and a lot less fat. Any flaky white fish can be used here - I usually have tilapia or whitefish around rather than cod.
Oven "fried" Fish

The other day, my husband was asking for fish and chips but with my high cholesterol, I have to avoid things like that. I found in a magazine at the doctor's office this recipe for oven fried fish, which is nice and crispy like the deep fried kind but without all the fat.
Crabmeat Stuffed Tilapia

This recipe came from www.tilapia.ws that turned out wonderfully. It is a rich and spicy recipe that can be used on other similar fish as well. It was difficult to roll the fillets easily, so I placed one fillet on the bottom of the casserole dish, layered the crabmeat on it and topped with another fillet of Tilapia. Larger fillets would work out better for rolling. Also one can adjust the amount of cayenne as desired. Worked out great. -- posted by jdrichardson

I found this method to be simple and tasty for fixing Tilapia. Dinner will be ready in 10 minutes. Serve with a frozen steam vegetable and simple rice or pasta dish for a great tasting and healthy weeknight dinner. -- posted by Sweet Melissa 73

Tiff's Very Garlic Tilapia

I am new to making up my own recipes, and my husband and I are cutting down on the carbs so we find adding lots of flavor to things will make our dishes more enjoyable. Here is a tilapia recipe I created when we wanted to stay away from the very temping breading! -- posted by TiffyMadrox

Spinach and Cream Cheese Stuffed Tilapia

I haven't made this recipe yet but am planning on making a few changes due to some situations in my life. I have A LOT of olive dip (green olives blended with cream cheese and garlic powder) and wanted to use it in a recipe. We'll see how it turns out. I'm planning on using fresh spinach also. Should be interesting! :) -- posted by Music lover
