			<description>Come on,you know that sounds good!  I developed these after attempting to overcome an addiction to bacon and horseradish dip I developed on my recent trip to the States.  You can even make these vegetarian by using the Bacos bacon bits that are made out of soy instead of the actual bacon.  The recipe can be scaled up pretty easily for bigger crowds.  Also, this is one of those times when I am not totally clear on how to translate an ingredient from UK to US.  I used what is called 'horseradish sauce' here in the UK.  Which, I remember being somewhere in between prepared horseradish and horseradish cream in the States. 			<description>My all time favorite recipe.  It's great for parties with no specific meal time.  I like to have it finished cooking about 30 minutes to an hour before anyone arrives and just keep it warm on the stove with rice, bowls and spoons on the counter next to the stove.  As people get hungry they can help themselves. People who say they don't care for shrimp creole usually ask me for a copy of recipe after they try it.  I read about half the other Shrimp Creole recipes and did not find any prepared like this one.  The veggies stay crisp instead of mushy like other shrimp creole recipes I have tasted.  I like to use small ( 50 to 60 per pound) raw shrimp that I clean myself.  But the lady I got this recipe from likes to use leftover boiled shrimp and my neighbor I gave the recipe to like to use frozen pre-cleaned shrimp.  It's good with any of them so choose what you prefer. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. The problem with trying to find a good chili recipe is that what makes a &amp;quot;good&amp;quot; chili is a personal opinion; my idea of a great chili may be very different from yours. My chili is heavy on the meat, garlic and spice; rather rich-tasting, hearty, thick, fiery, and smoky. If that sounds like something you'd enjoy, I'm also going to include plenty of advice on how to adjust it to meet your tastes.

			<description>This is a Midwestern classic apparently-- a school chum from Iowa told me about this recipe that's popular around fall and early winter, from having leftover cans of pumpkin from stocking up on sale but not wanting to make any more pumpkin pies-- they're popular for high teas, luncheon spreads, Superbowl parties, Thanksgiving and Christmas, or sitting on your can watching The Golden Girls. :D Since I didn't want to use actual marshmallow Fluff...this is my fluffy adaptation of this recipe that came out HEAVENLY. I could eat a drum of this stuff and not get bored of it! One 15 or 16 oz can of pumpkin works, or you can measure out 2 cups from a 28-oz can. 			<description>My dad started this recipe in our family. I grew up making it with my dad and after his death I have continued to make it. I have tweaked it to suit my family. Great to make for the Superbowl or a casual get together. All the spices are to taste. The measurements below are estimates, I rarely measure. Feel free to cut back on the Jalepeno if you don't like your food spicy. Also, instead of just plain ground beef, I have made it using left-over chili, just cut back on the spices then.Use more or less Milk to make cheese as thin/thick as you like, keep in mind the salsa will thin it out. You can use Pepper jack Velveeta if you cannot find the Mexican style. Also, leftover chili or 1/2 lb ground beef and 1/2 lb Chorizo instead of ground beef has had awesome results in my household, just cut back on seasonings. I like to keep the condiments from takeout and fast food places if I think I can use them for something else. I like to experiement with recipes and make them simple. This has to be one of the easiest recipes I make. The only thing that might be a problem for some people who want to make it, is you need to be near a Chick-fil-a. I use their spicy dressing. I don't normally like typical coleslaw dressing, so this is my little spin on it. I also like to double and even triple the recipe up for family bbq's and potlucks at work. Feel free to add your own items that you like....diced red onion, julienned bell peppers, etc. That's what is so great about recipes, you can make them your own.
