			<description>It seems silly posting something as simple as a baked potatoe, but this is sooo darn good!  I created this when I was eighteen and we did a lot of entertaining...usually bring your own meat bbq's lol.  I like it because it has everything in it, including it's own bacon bits, travels well, can be prepared ahead of time and gets rave reviews every time and is most always requested.  Note: Depending on what meat I am serving I will add an appropriate herb to my potatoe eg: if I am cooking lamb I will add rosemary to my potatoe. 			<description>This is the original as it appeared in the &amp;quot;Baltimore Sun&amp;quot; as a recipe request, recently. This was also printed many years ago, but has made a new a recent appearance again paralleling the closure of &amp;quot;Angelina' and subsequent auction of the restaurant. With the sale of the restaurant this crab cake recipe goes along with it. 
History as follows from Angelina's website. &amp;quot;In 1952, Angelina Tadduni and her family began a neighborhood Italian restaurant in a row home in northeast Baltimore. Building upon its local popularity, Bob and Carole Reilly purchased the restaurant in 1968 and added several essential features to the Angelina's legacy. Among these were a renowned Irish pub (the first to serve draught Guinness in Baltimore) and the finishing touches on the celebrated crab cake recipe.

The success of this signature dish made Angelina's name famous far beyond the old neighborhood, and the crab cakes began accumulating a list of awards too lengthy to include here. Visitors from across the country came to Angelina's seeking the best known crab cakes in a city best known for crab cakes.&amp;quot; &amp;quot;This recipe is straightforward and unadulterated and what you will get are authentic Maryland-style crab cakes. The real key to making good crab cakes is the use of top quality crab meat, and very little filler as possible. It's equally as important to be very careful with the fragile lumps, as you don't want to break up the lumps that provide the best formed crab cakes you will ever see, and without over-mixing. You can tell summer is in full force when we are eating these!! I am totally estimating the servings, I have no idea how many servings it is. A gallon jar should feed a lot of people. It only lasts us a few weeks in the fridge (we eat them pretty fast). 			<description>I got this recipe from 'The top 100 juices' by Sarah Owen, published by Lifetime Distributors, Castle Hill, Australia.
Sarah Owen says &amp;quot;All three fruits in this juice provide a massive infection-fighting boost of vitamin C and can help to shorten the duration of a cold. The kiwi fruit a also contain lutein, a phytonutrient known to reduce the risk of cancer, heart disease and eye disease. Both strawberries and grapes are high in ellagic acid, which neutralizes carcinogens. The tannins, flavones and active compounds in the grapes combine to make them energizing and strengthen the cell walls of blood vessels&amp;quot;
You could make more than one serving, and serve with lemonade and ice in a punch bowl for a party if desired.
I haven't made this yet, as I don't have a juicer, but if I ever get one, this will be the first juice that I make.

Sarah Owen says &amp;quot;The super-nutrient vitamin C is needed for more than 300 diferent processes in the body, but it is easily wiped out by smoking, pollution and stress. Found in abundance in berries, vitamin C and other antioxidants help to quash the damaging free radicals that are associated with many illnesses.&amp;quot;
The original recipe calls for natural bio yoghurt to be used, but any yoghurt will do.
This makes a large amount of smoothie, and if you're making it just for yourself, I'ld recommend halving it.

			<description>I just reviewed a Sugar Glazed Fried Green Tomato recipe on Zaar and it reminded me of a recipe I use constantly during the summer and it is not posted. My mother stated it was Swedish and my father stated it was German or Bavarian. Very simple and the marinating juice can be used in soups, stews or vegetable pies. Note: You can use raw sugar also.

During the breakfast hours I would see some kids pour milk over it and have it as a kind of makeshift cereal. Of course we would make this in tremendous quantities so I've had to do some math and lessen the ingredient amounts needed. So just a quick tip: if you decide to double this recipe, please use 3 large eggs instead of 4 small eggs. Smoked paprika is one of the best seasonings I've ever used; you can't believe how fragrant it is nd the taste is amazing. However, having said that, it is very pricey.
