There is nothing I love more than taking a basket to the end of my garden to pick an assortment of ripe summer berries when they are in season! The sense of satisfaction at picking your own fruit is wonderful. Although I have called these little jellies English summer berry jellies, I DO make these in France of course - it's just that the berries remind me of my grandparent's gardens and picking the fruit when I was little...plus, the combination of berries is the same as a traditional English Summer Pudding recipe! Sarah Owen says &amp;quot;The super-nutrient vitamin C is needed for more than 300 diferent processes in the body, but it is easily wiped out by smoking, pollution and stress. Found in abundance in berries, vitamin C and other antioxidants help to quash the damaging free radicals that are associated with many illnesses.&amp;quot;
The original recipe calls for natural bio yoghurt to be used, but any yoghurt will do.
This makes a large amount of smoothie, and if you're making it just for yourself, I'ld recommend halving it.

			<description>These are extremely tasteful and delicate cakes which are perfect for tea-parties or girls birthdays. I invented them for my birthday, so I would know. The lavender syrup is easy to make. Mix one tablespoon of, preferably fresh, lavender flowers with 5-6 tablespoons of sugar and a little water. Cook over a low heat until it transforms to syrup. Stray the syrup and leave it to cool down. You can store it in a cup in the fridge for couple of months. If you do not have time to prepare the raspberry sauce you can use jam instead. They also are a lovely treat on Valentine's Day.   I usually make them with the liqueur, which makes them extra-special.  The cookie dough does need to be refrigerated for several hours, which is not included in the preparation time, so plan accordingly.  Because these cookies are quite fragile and no one wants a broken heart, package them in metal cookie tins lined with large paper doilies.
