Barbecued Chuck Roast

I posted this recipe in answer to a message board request for "something different to do with a chuck roast". It is a recipe that I used to make quite often, but I haven't made it in a few years (another of those "forgotten recipes"). -- posted by Dee514

Crusty Garlic Spiced Prime Rib

Although expensive, prime rib is one of the juiciest & most tender cuts of beef - ideal for BBQing over indirect heat. The spice rub takes almost no time to prepare & adds a zesty touch! -- posted by CountryLady

Sesame Beef Roast

My family loves this roast during the summer and it's easy too! I found this recipe in the Sunset Barbecue Cookbook. Prep time does not include the overnight marinading time and, to be honest, I don't always marinate this overnight....I've found even just a few hours is enough. -- posted by Hey Jude

Prize Winning Marinade for Beef

I combined my sister-in-law's marinade recipe with my friend's barbecue cooking method. I then submitted this recipe into to a radio station as part of a contest and I ended up winning the grand prize of a Jenairre stove! It's so versatile that it works both with cheap cuts of beef and expensive too. I won't cook beef roast any other way. Enjoy! -- posted by Serendipity Elizabeth

Rotisserie Grilled Eye of Round

This is an easy recipe and a great way to prepare a roast without heating up my house on a hot Phoenix summer day. The marinade recipe is from a book called "The Passion of the Barbeque." I've made this for just my family, and have also made it for a large crowd (40 plus people) by adding more roasts to the spit. Preparation time includes marinating. -- posted by agileangus

Chef Flower's How Do I Make Grill Marks on a Steak?

California Barbecued Tri-Tip Roast - America's Test Kitchen

I watched this episode of America's Test Kitchen, and knew I had to try it! MMMMM! The crust on the meat is outstanding. This is almost more a method than a recipe. I have a little container that you put wood chips in and I used that for the smoking portion. I also used Mesquite.

Perfect Easy Beef Kebabs

I think I found this idea in Cooks Illustrated, but it was so easy, I didn't save the article. The marinade flavors the meat, and will protect it during grilling so that your kebabs won't dry out. It will not, however, tenderize a tough cut of meat, since it has no acid in it. Choose a nice cut of beef: strip steak, a thick loin steak (sometimes labeled as london broil), or tri-tip roast all work nicely here.
