Black Magic Coffee, Sugar Free-Fat Free

This is my own creation. I made it for a regular coffee mug but for a "Grande" simply double everything and use a tall latte mug. If you want to go all out for guests or your sweetie leave room at the top of the mug for a wallop (forget the dollop!) of whipped cream and sprinkle it with shaved bittersweet chocolate and finely crushed hazelnuts. Time for making this is after the coffee is brewed. -- posted by Annacia

My Diabetic Country Cherry Scones

This is my own diabetic, lighter, version of a high fat and sugar scone recipe. It comes out simply delicious though and you won't have to apologize for them being healthy. I would well wrap and freeze any that you won't be using right away because they will have lost freshness the next day. -- posted by Annacia

Cinnamon Rum Latte, Diabetic

I came up with this morning after experimenting with mary winecoff's lovely Recipe #263709 to see if I could make it sugar free. Wow, it's good! Time to make will be much less for subsequent cups when the syrup is pre-made. -- posted by Annacia

My Lightened Veggie Version of Poppy Seed Chicken

The original recipe of Recipe #269300 belongs to diner524. When I made it to suite my needs she suggested that I post it as a new recipe. Here it is, it's very tasty and the fat has been trimmed significantly. diner524 adds the suggestion that this could be served with whole wheat pasta or brown rice. -- posted by Annacia

Asiago Baco Buns

Here is a recipe that I came up with when wanting a bacon and cheese type bread but not wanting to use bacon. I always make buns but you could, of course, make a standard loaf of bread with it if you like. I always use the bread machine for the kneading then form and bake in the oven. -- posted by Annacia
