Tequila-Lime Pork Roast

Boneless pork loin marinated in tequila and covered with a flavorful rub. Adapted from dLife. The recipe calls for fresh lime juice, but I used bottled (not the sweetened type) since 2 cups of lime juice is about 32 limes and that is too expensive and time consuming for a marinade :) Use 1 fresh lime for the zest and add juice from that lime to the bottled juice. Prep time includes 24 hour marinating time. -- posted by mikekey

Filipino Chocolate Meat (Dinuguan)

This may sound bizarre or even disgusting to some people since it uses edible pork blood [found in most international grocery store's freezer aisle], but many cultures use blood as an ingredient (ie: European blood sausage, British black pudding) so don't knock it before you try it! =] I found this recipe online and posted it here for safekeeping and because this website hardly has any Filipino recipes. It's called "chocolate meat" because of the way the cooked pork blood resembles a chocolate sauce. It was also a good way to get your younger kids to try it out! It worked on me... haha! -- posted by cali_love

Teriyaki, Dijon Pork Tenderloin W/ Mushrooms/Onion/Baked Apple

My entry into the 2009 Canadian Living Magazine Cook of the Year Contest. The recipe did not make the cut, but it is tasty and certainly worthy of sharing. You will note the absence of salt and/or pepper. I am thinking there is sufficient sodium and seasonings in the Teriyaki sauce and Dijon Mustard to justify eliminating additional seasoning from the recipe.... Salt/Sodium should never overpower other ingredients. If additional salt is requested, by all means, do provide it, but suggest that they taste first, and salt second.

Pork Tenderloin can be purchased from your local supermarket in packages of two tenderloins, weighing approximately one kilo. This is usually sufficient for a dinner serving 4.
This recipe was originally developed to serve 8; you will therefore require two packages of pork tenderloin - 2 loins per package.....

Pork Fillets With Dark Cherry Sauce

This recipe makes a very elegant entree, but it is easy to make and fairly inexpensive. To keep the fillets from losing their shape, tie a piece of kitchen string around them while cooking, then cut and discard before serving. Make sure your skillet is hot enough to sear the fillets before adding them....this will ensure that they come out moist and tender!
Slow Smoked Pork Ribs

temperature about 200 degrees, smoke and patience. A full rack of ribs can be smoked in about 4 hours but do take the time and go the distance. The longer you smoke the more flavor you will get.

I'm using a mustard rub to form a nice crust. Remember that you need to hit an internal temperature of 165 F before they can be served. Have a meat thermometer ready. -- posted by ~Rita~

Super Simple Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

This is wonderful for feeding a big crowd, and since the slow cooker does most of the work, you get to spend time with your friends! Use as much or as little of the BBQ sauce as you like, as some people like their BBQ dry and neat, while others like a big sloppy sandwich with a lot of sauce.
Here's a tip: Save the cooking broth: you can add a little back to the pulled pork to thin the sauce if necessary, and it makes a great broth for soup! -- posted by drama diva

Barbecued Pork

Capture the flavour of the Chinese butcher's barbecued pork, but without the high fat and salt content. Letting the meat sit in the liquid after simmering helps very lean cuts of meat to retain their moisture.
Cooking Time does not include 4 hours marinate.

Paprika Pork Roast

This is an old Taste of Home recipe. It's great for company because it's so quick and easy to prepare and it can be in the oven cooking while I'm preparing for our guests.
I tasted a dish that was named, "Ragu" in my favorite Hungarian restaurant, and made my own version from memory. This is a great way to spice up a simple pork cutlet, and have a delicious sauce that you can pour over pasta.

This is another one of my experimental yet successful creations. DH, the guinea pig, heartily approved. The pork loin turns out tender and juicy with many layers of flavor: smokiness from the grill, tanginess from the lime juice, nuttiness/saltiness from the soy sauce and a little heat from the ginger and red pepper flakes. -- posted by MarthaStewartWanabe

This recipe is one I found on Epicurious. It is delicious! I drizzled the sauce on the "pork fingers" rather than dipping them. I hope you enjoy it. Here is the description that came with the recipe:
Sliced almonds add a delectable, almost-like-fried-chicken crunch to the breading for these tender pieces of pork. We slice the pork thinly to keep the cooking time quick. The resulting pork “fingers” are great dipped in this surprisingly simple, delicious honey, soy and mustard sauce. -- posted by iglowforyou

Guinness Pork and Swiss Sandwiches

I love leftovers which is why I roast a turkey for 3-4 dinners, a roast a big pork loin so I can make 3-4 meals, I roast 2 chickens vs. 1, and 2 meatloafs just for sandwiches. I love knowing I can come home and in just minutes have good food vs fast food. And I can also use the leftovers for soups, fried rice, guesadillas, tacos, casseroles, or just about anything.
However, my pork slow cooked all day with onions, guinness beer, rosemary 1 tablespoon, a bay leaf, salt and pepper was amazing. That was it. It fell apart and was a great easy dinner which took me 5 minutes in the am. But here is part two. And there will be a part thee too with fried rice. That is what I love, 1 dish 3 meals.
Some of my guinness beer bread made the night before is perfect, but if you can't do that use some good pumpernickle bread, store bought shredded cabbage, mayo and BBQ, deli cheese, and the onions from the roasted pork. Really simple. -- posted by SarasotaCook

Leftover Pork Tenderloin Crock Pot Chili

This recipe came out of a need to serve leftover pork tenderloin in a completely different way - my kids hate to eat leftovers of the "exact" same thing they ate the night before. I kept it pretty mild for tender palates, but you could certainly add any type of chiles, hot sauce, etc. Also, for the kids I put it into tortillas with cheese for burritos while my husband and I ate it in bowls as chili.
Sarasota's Pork Oscar

This is decadent dinner for company with not all the work. I love Veal Oscar, and this is my simpler version. Veal can be expensive, but pork tenderloins and pork loins are relatively inexpensive these days, and besides they make "awesome" leftovers. I cook whole tenderloins and stack up 2 or 3 slices of the medallions and then top with some canned (my short cut) crab and seared asparagus and top with a simple microwave Bernaise sauce. Now you can make the traditional sauce, which I have made too many times to count - but this is my shortcut meal. I actually served this 3 weeks ago when I found out that my roommate was bringing over 4 possible catering clients for dinner. Now I worked all day. So ...how do you impress in less than a couple of hours. I had a tenderloin in the refrigerator just in a baggie with some general herb seasoning. So this is what I put together. A 5- minute stop at the grocer to pick up canned crab, asparagus, fresh lemon and some fingerlings and the rest, well I winged it. It shows that you can really make a gourmet meal without spending it or taking hours. Now this serves 4, feel free to double for a larger crowd. -- posted by SarasotaCook

Roasted Pork With Blackberry Sauce

From Better Homes ***********************************************************

1 1/2 pound roast sounds small for 6 people. If you use a larger roast cooking time will have to be adjusted.

This is one of my husband's favorite things to eat. I guess it reminds him of home. I have to admit that it tastes real good. Always serve with refried beans and fresh flour tortillas. My husbands sisterinlaw gave me a list of the ingredients and nothing else so I had to do everything by taste. I love cooking so I did it my way. I hope you enjoy it.
Posole for Beginners

Most Americans (unless they're lucky) aren't familiar with this wonderful Mexican dish, since it's eaten more in Central and Southern Mexico. Moreover, hominy (unless you're from the South and know about grits, but that's quite different) is likely to be unfamiliar to most American palates. This simple version with comparatively few ingredients is a nice introduction to this delightful stew. If you can't find Anaheim peppers (our supermarket carries them sporadically), you can substitute Cubanelles and then add more cayenne. -- posted by L'ecole

Olde Mill Inn Pecan Molasses Pork Loin With Cheddar Mashed Potat

In 1768, Samuel Lewis, a miller from Franklin Corners in Basking Ridge, built a water-powered grist mill and a barn on the Passaic River on land originally acquired from William Penn. Through the generations, the business evolved into a thriving inn that still reflects its historic charm. The Grain House so deeply rooted in America's past and so lovingly preserved by all its owners, offers a historic atmosphere of charm and fellowship unmatched anywhere else in New Jersey. -- posted by Molly53

Crock Pot Pork Loin Roast

A great recipe for a rolled pork roast like the ones from Costco that tend to be a little dry & tough. The sauce can be thickened with a flour/water sauce for a flavorful gravy with pepper added. No salt is necessary as the condensed soup adds plenty!
Brunswick Stew, Quick-Cooked

As a southern girl, I love good Brunswick Stew. This is a quick cooking version that can be thrown together in a relatively short time and can be used as a "base" if there are other things you like to add to your stew. The recipe displayed here uses store-bought prepared pork barbecue, however, if you have left-over pork or beef barbecue, use it by all means!
