			<description>Adapted from a recipe I found in this morning's Herald Sun's Sunday magazine, too late for today's breakfast but I plan to try it soon.  It is from Donna Hay's 'Tastes of Autumn' magazine but to me this sounds like an anytime of year breakfast idea!  My only additions were garlic, rosemary and sage, simply because I enjoy all of these in many savoury dishes, but I've listed them as optional.  Feel free to add your favourite herbs.  So that the omelet retains its lightness, I'd be disinclined to add anything else to it, but I'll certainly be making this with some mushrooms.  YUM!  OOPS!  Chocolatl observed - quite rightly - that I'd omitted the butter from the Ingredients list. 			<description>To all my friends who may not be familiar with Old Testament cuisine, matzoh is the unleavened bread that the Jews were in the midst of making when they had to quickly leave Egypt and didn't have time to wait for the yeast to work. If you go into most any New York City delicatessen and ask the waiter what matzoh brie is, he'll probably say &amp;quot;scrambled eggs and matzoh!&amp;quot; Period!!  I would prefer to think of matzoh brie as the Jewish answer to French toast. So, please, don't wait for Passover to enjoy this wonderful treat. You can have it for breakfast, brunch, or even a midnight snack...anytime of the year. If you use a blender instead of a whisk, process the Bisquick, eggs, milk, pepper and salt for about 15 seconds; afterwards, by hand mix in the onion and garlic.  Optional: Use &amp;frac12; lb Canadian bacon in place of bacon and top with tomatoes. The traditional trouchia is a specialty of Nice, where slices of it are sold and eaten cold on the street.  This is a very versatile recipe.  You can  substitute almost any green (kale, beet greens, mustard greens) serve this warm, room temperature or cold, as an appetizer or main dish, and at any meal.  It even makes a great sandwich filling.

Usually when I serve it for breakfast I slice the sausage into wheels. 			<description>This is an easy to prepare, tasty dish using simple ingredients...my family loves it!  If you can't find the hash browns with onions already in with the potatoes, just saute 1/3 cup chopped onion and add that to the mix before baking.  While I use a 4 cheese blend, cheddar cheese alone would be fine also...the cooked cheese makes a delicious crust in the casserole.  Frozen hash browns would work too just thaw them before adding to the mix.
