This variation on the more traditional pina colada recipe is a good cure any tropical cravings you might have! You'll want to make sure to use ripe bananas for this recipe, as it will provide more flavor and sweetness that way. Also, make sure to use only enough liquid to keep the blender going. NOTE: Cook time is freezing time for the bananas. This makes a perfect mid-week meal, and is quick and easy to make.  You can add sices such as cumin or coriander to the ground chicken, to spice it up a bit.  Also, try serving it with flour tortillas or flatbread!

There are just so many Chilled Cucumber Soups on Zaar but - from my searches - none that seemed quite like this one which I'm posting for safe-keeping as well as for others who might like to try it.  I love the fact that this is basically a potato and leek soup - with cucumbers and prawns poached in champage!  YUM!  :) The only additions I've made are garlic (I just cannot contemplate prawns without garlic!) and the dill or parsley for garnish. The photograph accompanying the original recipe suggested that small shrimps had been used and rather more than the 12 specified in the ingredients list which explains why in the directions there is mention in step 3 of dividing &amp;quot;most of the prawns&amp;quot; between 4 bowls, then adding &amp;quot;the remaining&amp;quot; prawns once the soup had been ladled into the bowls!  12 prawns between 4 bowls hardly allows for &amp;quot;most of...&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;remaining...&amp;quot;  Obviously, this recipe could be made with small shrimps and with a larger number than 12. If rosemary branches are unavailable, use wooden skewers soaked in water and add rosemary to the lamb just before threading it onto the skewers.  I have also included sage as I love rosemary and sage together.  Michelle Trute recommends marjoram, mint, rosemary and sage with lamb and recommends using herbs rather than salt. It appealed to me because it is very similar to the potato salad recipe that my mom made for our summertime picnics and potluck gatherings.  This burger is as local as it gets, both in taste and ingredients. The patties are tender and juicy, thanks to fresh papaya and sweet onion, and are spiced with Hawaiian Portuguese sausage, which is so popular in Hawaii that it is on every breakfast menu (including McDonald&amp;amp;#8217;s). The accompanying salad employs heating oil to its smoking point, a local cooking method, resulting in a dynamite burger accompaniment. To complete the Hawaiian flavoring, I added a sweet glaze (Hawaiians love sweet and savory) and was inspired by our award-winning goat dairy to create a mouth-watering ginger-infused cheese spread. Ho, dat's da kine!

As for preperation of the bacon, you can choose to cook it in the stock pot, leaving behind as much fat as possible for flavour, and add back after cooking of the rest of the soup, or do as I've suggested with the microwave. 			<description>Idea I came up with for something quick and healthy that can be mostly prepared in advance. I used a large cooked chicken breast cut-up but would also be a good use for leftover roast chicken. Makes 4 large tacos so I think would be a complete meal for two or a light snack / lunch for four, if using the smaller shells you'll probably be able to fill six of them. I listed a gherkin because that's what I used but you could also use a small handful of diced cucumber. Because it's served slightly chilled I think this would make a nice and quick summer meal at the end of a hot day. You could also use a low-fat Greek yoghurt and/or omit the feta.
