			<title>Moist Banana Bread</title>

			<description>The secret ingredient here is pudding!  Either banana flavoured or vanilla pudding works great. It makes the banana bread moist.  Another tip is use bananas that are so overripe that they are all completely brown.  This will add better flavour to the loaf.  This recipe is all about the techniques which will help keep the loaf moist.  Covering the loaf with foil while baking is necessary, and will ensure a moist top that isn't crusty.  I've added some cake flour to the mix because Canadian wheat has alot of gluten and I wanted to make the bread dense but will bake evenly.  Feel free to experiment with adding different types of nuts or sweeteners to make this receipe your own.  So far I've baked this loaf in flimsy aluminum pans and glass pans, and the disposable aluminum works better than the glass pan.  I've also made mini acorn-shaped bread in Williams-Sonoma decorative pan as well as the W-S bundt pan and had impressive results with pretty designs. 			<description>An ancient Good Housekeeping recipe that I religiously make every New Years day.  If you've never made a scratch cake, you don't know what you're missing.  Using cake flour is a must.  See Lennie's recipe #87689.  Be sure to properly measure your flour by lightly spooning into a measure cup until overflowing then using the backside of a knife to level off.  Too little flour will produce a callapsed cake and too much will have wet spots with dense layers.  Cake layers freezeable.

The results are a delicious moist cake, that you can't help sneaking another piece. You can make it more chocolatey if you wish by folding in 1 C. of chocolate chips before baking.

It was quite different from most of the usual copycat recipes out there, so perhaps their current version has been somewhat adapted over time.  There are no nuts in this version. 			<description>I had never had Bread Pudding before I went to Vegas and had it at a buffet.  Well, I fell in love.  My obsession use to be chocolate, but since I've lost 52 lbs. I gave it up.  NOW, my obsession has become THIS version of Bread Pudding.  ( I have to be careful how much of this I make, so I don't gain all of that chocolate weight back!)    I found this recipe on the &amp;quot;Momswhothink.com&amp;quot; website and I hope it is ok to post it here.  This is true comfort food.  Do not over bake or you will lose the eggy texture of the bread.  The cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla are the key ingredients to the rich flavor of this dessert.  I use french bread, and have even used dry bread that has been sitting around a few days. I even used wheat french bread once and it turned out great!  The sauce is more a vanilla, butter, cream sauce.  I usually make about 4 times (yes, that is what I said!) in order to smother the bread pudding.   One recipe of it is just not enough.   Ummm.  Make the sauce while the pudding is baking and you will save time.  You can also use a Hard Sauce if you would rather.  (recipe # 102574 sounds like a good one.)  Even if you have never tried Bread Pudding, be daring, and try it.  I use to turn my nose up at it, and now, I cannot wait for an excuse to make it, again and again. With more than a cup of fresh lemon juice, the lemon flavour is really pronounced, the filling sets up real well and the dusted sugar makes for a beautiful presentation.
