Most Quenching Smoothie Ever!!

This is my absolute favorite smoothie. I know smoothie recipes are a dime-a-dozen, but this one is so simple and tasty that it has to be tried. Note: I always, always buy super fresh mange, peel, chop, and freeze it myself because sometimes the pre-frozen mango is not as ripe as it should be. Also it is best to use freshly squeezed oranges, but store-bought juice is fine too. -- posted by ieatfoOOod

Easy Mango Smoothie

When mangoes are in season, this makes a refreshing and delicious treat. The ingredients call for lowfat vanilla ice cream and nonfat milk; I have tried it using regular ice cream and whole milk; if you like a very rich smoothie you will enjoy it this way. I usually make it with regular ice cream and 1% milk. -- posted by TasteTester

Creamy, healthy and delicious! A classic smoothie from the BlackCat13 restaurant in Saigon, this guarantees to please. it combines the complimentary flavors of mango and banana which each lend not only flavor but their own style of smoothness to the drink. prepared fresh and with high-quality ingredients, it's sure to please. And the best part is that if you use fully-ripe mango and banana, NO simple syrup is even necessary! -- posted by BlackCat 13 Chef

Black Cat 13 "formula 2" Recovery Smoothie

Our customers asked for a healthy smoothie-base that would specifically help them recover after a hard workout. We picked these items, each lending their own curative and anti-inflamatory properties. Together they make a sweet, tart sorbet with an amazing, beautiful ruby color. Great by its own right, it also makes a great base that you can use for a knockout smoothie. Try blending a few scoops of this with a banana and you'll be hooked for sure; and your body will thank you! -- posted by BlackCat 13 Chef

Superfruit Smoothie

My absolute favorite smoothie - banana, kiwi, mango, peach, and clementine! When fresh fruit is in season, I like to play around with different combinations, but this is the one that I make the most. Not only does it taste absolutely amazing, but it is loaded with natural nutrition too; Vitamins B & C, potassium, dietary fiber, omega-3 F.A.s, antioxidants, calcium...much more wholesome (and yummier!) than a vitamin pill in my opinion. And because of the fiber and protein, it is filling enough to be a hearty snack or a meal substitute. Before you get too excited, a quick word of warning about the kiwi - if you eat too much at once it can make your mouth feel tingly and raw (yes... I've had this happen. I can't help myself!) I hope you like this smoothie as much as I do! :) -- posted by Oenophilly

Mango Madness Smoothie

From my DD's Children's World Cookbook & Posted for ZWT-5. A very healthy, slushy fruit drink that can also be served as a dessert.
Creamy Mango Parsley Green Smoothie

This green smoothie is like the dessert of green smoothies, haha. It is unbelievably creamy and delicious. And it leaves your mouth feeling so refreshed. Mangoes are really high in fiber and have lots of health benefits! I found a recipe similar to this in a book called Green For Life, but I altered it a tad. I find that people new to green smoothies might want to use a little less greens to start off, in order to get yourself acclimated to it. -- posted by Mimosas for Mr & Mrs
