Best Lima Bean Soup - Especially Wintertime!

Wintertime soups and stews . . . nothing better! This recipe will give you a rib-sticking flavorful soup that everyone can tweak as much as desired to satisfy his or her own tastebuds.
Mama Delilah's Jammin Jambalaya

Nothing says lovin like some spicy Louisiana cooking. I absolutely LOVE making this when I have the time. I'm toning down the amount of creole seasoning that I use, because I tend to be a little heavy handed with it. The amount is an approximate - season to your taste. -- posted by Mama Delilah

Sausage and Hash Brown Breakfast Pie

A great and hearty breakfast pie that is sure to please everyone. I've never had anyone not enjoy it or even suggest a way to make it better. You can add more bacon if you like. Sometimes the hash browns need to cook longer, so please keep that in mind.

Prep time is probably off because I make it early in the morning. Cook time should be dead on. -- posted by Nate From SoCal

Roasted Pork Chops With Caramelized Quince

This is a meal suitable for a cool, autumn dinner. The pork chops turn out moist and savory and pair nicely with the sweet and somewhat tangy flavor of quince. I like to eat a slice of quince with each bite of pork chop, as the combination reminds me of harvest season. If you are unable to find quince, two large apples would substitute well (any tart variety such as Macintosh, Granny Smith or Cortland). -- posted by MarthaStewartWanabe

Pan Roasted Corn and Tomato Salad

At the end, you've got meaty smokiness from bacon; that incredible sweetness of corn; the fruity acidity of tomato; the tender, smooth fattiness of avocado, and the sharpness of chili.
Easy Tasty Pork Roast

I looked and didn't find any pork roast made this way. This is the way I have made a Pork Butt Roast our entire marriage of 48 years. It is easy and oh so tender, juicy and delicious. I always serve it with mashed potatoes and make gravy from the rich drippings. If you make a large roast the leftovers can be made into many other dishes...even BBQ pork sandwhiches if you simmer some of it in BBQ sauce until it is absorbed. -- posted by CarrolJ

Capicola Pork Rolls With Apricots and Walnuts

This pork and capicola dish is topped with a luscious sherry demi-glaze sauce made up of walnuts and dried apricots. It is bursting with flavor! Serve this with cheesy polenta and a nice green salad. I purchased an envelope of demi-glaze instead of making my own. A real time-saver! Capicola also comes in sweet or spicy. I prefer the spicy. -- posted by Crazycook in PA

Steamed Taiwanese Meatloaf

Got this recipe from my friend's mom, who makes it with pork. I haven't tried it with the pork, only turkey. Kids love this recipe - it goes well over rice. Best part is that it takes no time at all to make. On days when I don't have time, I simply mix everything together beforehand, cover it in saran wrap and throw the Corel bowl (which I can put directly into a steamer) into the fridge until 30 minutes before dinner time. To avoid using the chicken bouillon I have tried using chicken broth, but I really see no difference in taste. So I normally just make it using water and skipping the chicken bouillon altogether. -- posted by Fluffkins
