I was served this drink on the beach in Rio one time and turned my nose up at it (I'd asked for mango juice and don't really like milk drinks) but I was pleasantly surprised to find how well the sweet creamy milk went down with the loose crushed slippery mango.  Don't think of this as a drink though do serve it in a glass.  This is more like eating peaches and cream. This isn't a family recipe, but it rivals any I've had.  (It's a combination of several recipes I found online.)  I find myself craving it once every couple of weeks...luckily my boyfriend loves it too!  :-)  This can be made with 2 pounds of chicken, or 1 lb chicken + 1 lb smoked sausage. Sometimes I add a little Truvia. You don't need a sweetener but can add your sweetener of choice if you like.  The amounts are very inexact and depend on your taste.  I generally use the juice of one meyer lemon with a smaller amount of the sour lemon juice. 			<description>This is a really satisfying Afro-Brazilian dish which everyone seems to love.  It has an extremely subtle yet unique flavour and texture quite unlike any other.  Palm oil can be found in the world foods section of any major supermarket and is essential for this dish, as is the cassava which you may find under the name mandioca or yucca root.  Yucca root is a long root vegetable that looks like a wooden stick, I have seen fresh Yucca root in the exotic veg section and in the frozen veg section in some UK supermarkets.  If you can't find these 2 ingredients at your local supermarket you will most certainly find them at any ethnic supermarket.  The finished product has a tropical feel to it and is quite colourful.  The lime is mandatory here too as it cuts through the fats and lifts this dish right up. I love big batches of soup to freeze (especially when I was single and just wanted to come home to a good dinner...) and this one is perfect.  I've also added beans, potatoes, carrots, celery and whatever else looked like it needed to be used up.  Nowadays I don't usually add the jalapenos (daughter doesn't like heat...so sad....)...but love having this to warm things up. At the time of my request in RR I had lots of small plum tomatoes which in the heat became too overripe for salad but I could not bear to throw them out. I had a large chunk left of my favourite pastry, recipe #197151, which had to be used, but I confess that I don't know how much I used for this pie.... The amount given is a guess. 			<description>This is a recipe I adapted from Martha Stewart's Everday Food. It is a stovetop version of a classic southern casserole. I am usually suspicious of so called &amp;quot;quick&amp;quot; versions of classics and even more so of &amp;quot;light&amp;quot; adaptations, but this one was right on the money. The texture and flavor are reminiscent of Boston Market chicken pot pie. There is no cream of chicken soup and you can have dinner on the table in about 45 minutes. The original recipe called for whole wheat biscuits, but I made Bisquick biscuits with melted butter generously brushed on top (makes a golden brown crust). This recipe would be delicious with turkey and can be made with cooked chicken or turkey as well.
