The Best Seafood Salad

I looked through all of the seafood salad recipes on here and although they all looked delicious I thought that I would try making my own with some ideas from the other seafood salad recipes that I seen on here and this turned out excellent. I could not quit eating it. You can add more or less of the ingredients as you like and you can also add grated cheddar cheese to it which is also wonderful. I added the cheese and bacon which is optional but very good without it as well. -- posted by Gingerbear

Louis Seafood Salad

I once worked with a chef who made the most wonderful Louis dressing, but he wouldn't disclose his secret that made it so unusual and so good. Years later, he worked for my dad and told me his secret, the clove-flavored vinegar... you can't really taste it, but it adds something special! I'm sure he is long gone, so I feel free to pass on his secret. -- posted by Toby Jermain

Seafood Tarragon

My favorite summer dish! This "salad" is loaded with fresh flavor and crispness that I just haven't found in any other recipe I have. This recipe is pretty forgiving, so don't worry about "exact" amounts...and season to your liking! It can get salty easily, so watch out for that. ENJOY! -- posted by BasilLover

Seafood Salad Martini With Vodka Habanero Dressing

This was included in a Baltimore Sunpapers restaurant review several years ago, with professional-sized quantities, DH called the chef, and he kindly broke it down to more manageable proportions. All together, it is quite expensive, but a BIG hit at a "gourmet" dinner party. I found fairly inexpensive large martini glasses at Marshall's and Pier 1, heavy glass with a blue rim. A tad labor-intensive, but worth it. -- posted by NurseJaney

Linda's Lobster Salad Supreme

I just created this tasty dish for my lunch today, and wanted to share it with all of you, because it was SOOOOOOOO GOOD! The pictures posted are on a sandwich plate, not a lg. plate. This salad is an individual serving, and you can double or triple the ingredients to make enough for however many you want to serve. It is just DELISH! I used Spring Salad mix to make the salad pictured, but I think next time I will just use plain lettuce. You can also substitute crab or shrimp in this lovely dish. -- posted by Linda's Busy Kitchen

Spicy Lobster-Noodle Salad

Recipe by Jean-Georges Vongerichten for Food & Wine Magazine." Pairing of the Day, Jean-Georges Vongerichten's Easy Island Cooking" published January 2009.This cellophane-noodle salad, with creamy avocados, crunchy peanuts and a chile-honey dressing, is an excellent
showcase for Caribbean spiny lobsters. Also known as rock lobsters, they are sweet but can be slightly dense. This recipe uses Maine lobsters; they’re more tender than spiny lobsters—and just as delicious. :) -- posted by Manami

Warm Lobster Salad With Arugula and Truffle Oil

I found this off of truffle-oil.com and am posting it here to save it. I haven't made it yet, so if someone has, please let me know how it is. One of these days I'll get around to buying some truffle oil and giving this a go. It sounds like it would be a very eye-appealing salad, too. The website offered the tips of using fresh herbs and not overcooking the lobster. I'm guessing on the yield and times, so please inform me of them when you make this. -- posted by Marla Jones
