			<description>My favorite part of a Thanksgiving meal is the stuffing!! This recipe came about when I saw Rachael Ray make hers and I figured they would be great using my family stuffing recipe.  I have made this by using muffin tins or free-forming balls onto a baking sheet.  The latter works great when you want to get a lot done at one time or don't have enough muffin tins; just make sure you make them tight enough that they won't fall apart while baking. 			<description>Bravo to Love2Eats Peanut Brittle in a Jiffy #58383 - it got me started, but with the adjustments for my higher powered microwave  and some flavor changes I thought I should write my own recipe.  I can not say how much Love2Eats note about having everything measured out and ready to go was a life saver.  I use an 8 cup pyrex measuring bowl with a handle as this mixture bubbles up and gets very hot (bowl gets very hot too) - it is MOLTEN SUGAR- if your work area is not right next to your sink - have a bowl of ice water in case  of burns. THIS RECIPE IS FOR A 1200 WATT MICROWAVE. 			<description>I've been making this since I was a kid. I was taught it by my Grandmother, who learned it from her mother. It's a very old, very easy recipe. I craved this drink constantly while pregnant. I usually use Hershey bars or Kisses to make this. I like to use leftover chocolate from Christmas and Halloween to make this. I have used every chocolate imaginable for this and I've never had a complaint yet. Also, you can use water instead of milk, though it will taste different then intended. I use milk to make sure my daughter drinks enough during the holidays. It has a kick to it, because of the Cayenne and Cinnamon. If you taste test throughout, you should have no problems. Besides, that just means you have an excuse to have more chocolate. : )

			<description>I included them on my Christmas cookie platters this year, and everyone made a point of telling me how good they were.  I found the recipe on the web.  The raisins were my idea.  Dried cranberries would be as good, if not much, much better.  Or leave them out completely.  Both light and dark brown sugar work beautifully, although I think I like the dark brown sugar version just a tiny tad more. I used good-quality white chocolate chips mixed with about 1/2 teaspoon of shortening for the drizzle.  And if you can, use freshly ground nutmeg.  Also, you can use up to 3/4 cup raisins or dried cranberries.  Any way you try it, I think you'll love them. It's not the most healthy of foods, but is healthier than many other fried dough recipes out there since it's quick fried, and soaks up a lot less of the oil it's fried in.  This is a recipe that's always a pleaser, and quite tasty when dipped in some sugar, or even by itself.  The anchovy paste variant is my favorite. It started as a Cuban-style collards soup that included bacon fat, short ribs, Cuban sausage and ham hocks. Eventually Ms. Cooper decided to &amp;quot;de-fat&amp;quot; and change some of the ingredients to typical  southern ones. The results are both aromatic and hearty, perfect on a cold day. 			<description>I had these cinnamon sweet potatoes at a Thanksgiving lunch. I thought these were so yummy and I had to ask Bobby Smith how to make them. Bobby says these are alot of work but the pay-off is so sweet. When I made these yams I used to much nutmeg I'm gonna cut back on this during the tasting of the grease/syrup. I did use a good amount of cinnamon and will use a bit more next time. My future hubby thought these were good but a bit to sweet so next time I'll go more easy on the brown sugar and sugar. I did use Splenda for both. It either makes one huge pan or two smaller ones.  I have found that making the ragu the night before makes the preparation a lot easier. 

Two minor substitutions I have made:  (1) I use the already prepared ground chuck and ground pork from the meat section of my grocery store. This has to be one of the easiest recipes I make. The only thing that might be a problem for some people who want to make it, is you need to be near a Chick-fil-a. I use their spicy dressing. I don't normally like typical coleslaw dressing, so this is my little spin on it. I also like to double and even triple the recipe up for family bbq's and potlucks at work. Feel free to add your own items that you like....diced red onion, julienned bell peppers, etc. That's what is so great about recipes, you can make them your own.
