Swiss Cheese and Spinach Quiche

One of our favorite quiches. From a local hospital cookbook my mom gave me. We omit the salt as the cheese adds enough salt for us. *Note: Make sure the pie crust is a deep dish!
Kiddie Cinnamon Rolls

My daughters attend cooking classes and one day they came home very proud with these cinnamon rolls. They are really, really good and easy enough that smaller kids can be part of the action. The recipe just states 'a mixture of sugar and cinnamon', the amount of cinnamon will depend on how 'cinnamon'ey' you want the rolls. The 2 tbsp in the recipe is a best guess. -- posted by Deantini

Honey-Mustard Pork Roast With Bacon

I saw Giada from Food Network make this and it looked so delicious I had to try it, and it was FANTASTIC! The directions on the FN site do not say to lay the twine in the pan FIRST, THEN add the roast, then the bacon. But this is how she did it on the show and it looks much easier to tie it up that way. I also double the garlic as we love garlic. I hope you try this for any special occasion.
Shelly's Chicken Tacos

When my mom made tacos, she used a McCormick seasoning packet and pre-made taco shells. I've always craved for something a little more authentic. I had these ingredients on hand one night, and just decided to wing it. So it's a super easy recipe, and I had fantastic results. These are what I would consider "street taco" style tacos. -- posted by Zelly Bell

We always double the sauce amounts to make extra sauce (details below), and then thicken it with a little cornstarch.

Tuna Cake With Pimento

This tuna cake recipe was just a last resort dinner. I was amazed at how simple it was and how cost friendly it was. Full of flavor and great consitancy. It can be made lower in fat simply by browning them instead of frying them. -- posted by NickleBoodle19

Zucchini Spice Bread

One year, my hubby planted squash in our garden, and for some reason the seeds were mixed up in the package and we got zucchini, and they werer massive!! I made about 30 Zucchini breads that year, and everyone in the family and the neighborhood got a taste of my zucchini bread!! If you plan to bake this bread in a smaller loaf pan, be sure to fill it no more than three-quarters full to prevent the batter from overflowing in the oven, -- posted by Chef mariajane
