			<description>This is my favorite oatmeal - I'll eat it for breakfast or lunch!  Very filling and super tasty with the dried cranberries, almonds and orange marmalade. Be sure to add the dried cranberries right away as they rehydrate while cooking which makes them very flavorful.  If I'm not that hungry I'll reduce the oats to 1/4 cup and leave the other ingredients the same. 			<description>The name says it all!  I've been on a major oatmeal kick lately and wanted to create something that had just enough protein AND still very tasty! I use half a serving of Syntax Vanilla Bean protein powder with this recipe which has 12g of protein, as that is plenty of protein at one time for me - 1/2 a scoop measures a slightly heaping 1/8 cup. Your 'scoop' might be different sized - if you change the volume of the powder, you'll need to adjust the water accordingly.  Don't skip the flaxmeal, I think its really important for the texture and flavor!  I think you could use frozen blueberries, although I haven't tried it, just be sure to return your oatmeal to the microwave after adding them to warm them up. 			<description>This is a modified energy bar from Mollie Katzen's Protein Bar recipe, found at {http://www.fabulousfoods.com}. I try to steer clear from dairy as often as possible and it was tough finding a granola/energy bar recipe that didn't use milk or yogurt.  So I kinda took what I liked from this recipe and left what I didn't and added a few other things.  It's a really great tasting bar that is egg-free and dairy free (except for the chocolate chips, use carob chips instead or just omit them altogether if you want a truly vegan bar) and packed with nutrition.  They're pretty sweet so if you like a less sweet bar use less sugar, choose a less sweet nut butter, and/or substitute dried fruit and chocolate chips for nuts and carob chips.  Eat one fresh out of the oven then freeze the rest in freezer zip-bags.  Just make sure to defrost or warm them before eating. 			<description>I tried Costco's granola the other day, and is it EVER good!  Now, I'm not saying this recipe is an exact clone of Costco's, but it's the best I found.  Add or subtract ingredients according to your taste - you can use less sugar if you like, increase the amount of wheat germ, add flax seeds, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, other dried fruit or nuts - it's perfect for experimenting.
