			<description>Clients of the company I work for give us fresh cranberries every year at Thanksgiving.  this year, I decided to actually DO something with them.


I made this cranberry cake several times in one week because we just can't get enough of it. It's sweet with a golden crumb, soft and moist, and dense without being heavy, with juicy explosions of tart cranberries. 


This is also really easy; it comes together in about 10 minutes. Sometimes, I will cover it in whipped cream, but lately I have been baking it instead with a topping of pecans caramelized in butter and brown sugar.

			<description>Whenever I make a loaf of gluten free bread, I can't seem to eat all of it before it goes stale or moldy.  While I could slice and freeze half, I prefer to use it for bread pudding, stuffing, meatloaf, etc.  This is an excellent use for bread that is too hard and stale to eat.  I would not make it from fresh squishy bread, as I think it would probably dissolve in the egg custard.  The original recipe, Debbie Tate's &amp;quot;Make Ahead French Toast&amp;quot; at allrecipes, suggests 8 slices of French bread.  I would assume that sourdough, old hard sandwich rolls, etc. would also work beautifully.  This morning I used the last quarter loaf of bread made from Bob's Red Mill GF Homemade Wonderful Bread Mix.  I would be happy to serve this for company, or Christmas morning. I looked at many of the other bakes to create this recipe, which includes the things we like, and was looking for a shorter bake time, than the hour average on most of them.  You can easily make this up ahead of time, according to others you should be able to make this up to 2 days ahead in the fridge, or 2 months in the freezer. 			<description>My grandmother got this recipe from a friend years ago and has been making it frequently ever since. It is my FAVORITE quiche recipe. I'm not a huge fan of crusts since I love the flavors of the quiche itself and feel that the crust just gets in the way. The Bisquick makes its own sort of crust anyways. You can used leftover ham pieces or crumbled bacon. Either way is delicious. Sauteing the onions in a little butter or oil first is key to a good flavor. I use a spicy sausage so there is no need for additional spices, but you can add your own spices to the eggs before you pour it on or in the meat when you cook it. I love pepper so I chose to increase the amount of it in my omelet.  I also used frozen spinach.  There's no need to thaw it.  I used a knife to shave off what I needed.  Cheese is optional because this omelet has great flavor without it and is much healthier. 			<description>I invented this in my kitchen at the end of the first week of Phase 1 out of desperation for a sweet instead of savory breakfast. Enjoy plain, or with sugar free syrup, or jam. For Phase 2 I would recommend fresh fruit (like berries), and fat-free no sugar added whipped cream; or you could core and slice some apples and saute in margarine before adding the egg mixture. This is also good with some yogurt on the side - try plain with fruit infused stevia (apricot is excellent!) Side Note: Many people use &amp;quot;Splenda&amp;quot; as a sugar substitute, if you get an icky aftertaste try Stevia, like &amp;quot;Truvia&amp;quot;.  I personally prefer &amp;quot;Sun Crystal&amp;quot;, a mix of natural sugar cane and stevia. 			<description>I'm grateful to andypandy for telling me about Eggs in Purgatory in answer to a community question about varying poached eggs. I checked out the various recipes and then adapted them to my needs and came up with this. 
Rather than an Italian style tomato sauce, it is more like a Latin salsa. The garlic and onions can either be done first in the skillet, adding a bit more oil to the skillet after that so as not to let the eggs stick,, or, if rushed then can use garlic powder and dried minced onions in the salsa/sauce.  (Salsa just means 'sauce' in Spanish)
I get a kick out of watching it cook because the edges of the egg look kind of ragged as the tomato sauce bubbles up and the pattern looks like flames,,,  haha and thus the name of the dish. 
I'm not fussy about the exact amounts of ingrediants and many of you 'tweak' recipes anyway,, so please understand that the amounts are approximations,, and it also depends on how many eggs are being poached.
