			<description>Gorgeous spiced pumpkin scones with honey butter - what a treat for the tea-time table during autumn and winter. I have made these twice now and love the combination of the honey butter with the scones, although they are also delicious with plain unsalted butter. This recipe came from an Australian &amp;quot;Olive&amp;quot; magazine that was sent to me, apparently, Queensland is famous for its blue pumpkins where this recipe originates from - I added the spices as well as the honey butter! A wonderful recipe for the cooler months, but as it uses tinned or frozen pumpkin, these can be made all year around. If you don't want to serve these with the honey butter, just split them whilst warm and spread with normal butter or cream. 			<description>It's time for all thing pumpkin! Came across this recipe in The Washington Times. It called for breaking up gingersnaps &amp;amp; adding them to the ice cream when it is almost firm. I prefer to serve them on the side. Better to make the custard ahead of time - it needs a 3 hour minimum chill time (preferably overnight) before processing in ice cream maker. Once churned, eat it quick - it gets grainy when stored beyond a few days in the freezer. When DD was in Kindergarten the children had to take turns bringing a snack to school for everyone to share and DD loved to bring these cookies. I love this recipe because it doesn't require refrigeration before rolling out and because the cookies always turned out beautifully. The recipe is from a little booklet called Wilton Christmas Recipes &amp;amp; Ideas.

You can make the cumquats ahead of time but store in fridge. Gotta try these! :) Be sure to use paper liners in the muffin tins and spray them with nonstick spray; otherwise, they will crumble when you peel off the liners. This recipe also makes great mini muffins; just shorten the baking time by 5 minutes. Nothing wakes up your camp-mates like the warmth of a campfire and the sounds and smells of sausage, bacon, and veggies. You will NEED a REAL camping dutch oven (get the cast-iron kind with the little legs and the lip on top for putting coals on the lid - if you camp much, this is well worth the investment). You will also need two hot-pads, tongs, and a heat-resistant spatula. A long-sleeve shirt and leather gloves are recommended so that you don't singe your arms and hands. 			<description>Clients of the company I work for give us fresh cranberries every year at Thanksgiving.  this year, I decided to actually DO something with them.


I made this cranberry cake several times in one week because we just can't get enough of it. It's sweet with a golden crumb, soft and moist, and dense without being heavy, with juicy explosions of tart cranberries. 


This is also really easy; it comes together in about 10 minutes. Sometimes, I will cover it in whipped cream, but lately I have been baking it instead with a topping of pecans caramelized in butter and brown sugar.

			<description>Another classic, best served warm or cold at room temperature but never hot.  It goes great with summer salads but often I just eat it on its own, picking at it throughout the day.  In Spain it is sacrilege to grill the top, you're supposed to flip it over and cook it all over the heat of the hob.  I think this causes too many problems and I can't tell much difference in taste anyway.   Better to have it neatly turned out onto a plate than try and put the pieces back together I reckon!  The olive oil is essential here and really adds something special I think.   Don't think of this as an omelette (potato omelette, how boring!)
