			<description>Entered for safe-keeping. From Super Food Ideas, September 2008 (#1 Australian food magazine).  Leftover cake and sauce can be saved for up to 3 days: store cake in airtight container at room temperature.  Refrigerate sauce in an airtight container.  Whiskey is an optional ingredient.  I have tried to give U.S. equivalents of measurements.  Double cream is the name in Britain for a very rich cream  containing 48% butterfat. Whipping cream in this country, by contrast, contains between 30% and 40% butterfat. Single cream in Britain is comparable to American half and half (and may also be called pouring cream), with between 10% and 12% fat. 			<description>These bars are awesome, good for any occasion. They are very rich, even though you can only eat a few at a time, I've seen people manage to get half the pan down. I don't know if anyone has seen or had these bars but my mom made them for me when I was a kid and I have no idea where she got it from, but they are to good to wonder. Make it exactly as it says or it won't come out right. This is so not hard to make even though it might seem that way just reading it, try it you won't be sorry. 			<description>My rhubarb flourishes at the end of my clothesline, right next to a patch of hollyhocks that sway in the summer breezes.   Right now there are some little birds (I can't make them out with my spotting scope) snatching up pine needles and flitting about busily.    Anyway, this recipe comes from the June '09 issue of *Country Living*.   I do live in the country, and have an abundance of rhubarb.   It's easy to freeze the cut-up pieces, and if you toss the pieces with sugar (right in the zipper bag), you can pop it in the freezer and use them later. This cake needs no frosting, there is a crispy sugary shell that forms on top with a moist cake and cinnamon struesal center .(See my photos, I've tried to capture the inside and out) Traditional Bundt cakes serve 12 but you can serve 18 with this one just cut the slices a little thinner..... but you might want a huge piece after your house smells like a gigantic snickerdoodle cookie while it's baking! They are n-e-v-e-r called Yo Yo Biscuits, just Yo Yos... the Simply Great Meals website called them Yo Yo's, but the apostrophe makes no sense, and without the apostrophe the name looks like Yo YOS - which sounds silly and is NOT what they are known as!  Conversions: 150g = just under 5oz; 60g = 2oz.  Personally, I'd prefer to omit the food coloring.  Not anti-pink, just prefer to avoid unnecessary chemicals.  Seems to me that even a 1/2 teaspoon of cherry juice would achieve the pinkness if that's what you're after.  The slivered almonds are not generally found in a traditional Yo Yo: I've added those. 			<description>This yummy and super-rich chocolate brownie recipe has been adapted from a recipe by Maggie Beer, a revered Australian chef and author of many cookbooks.  If Sangiovese Verjuice is not available use any Verjuice; and you could use glac&amp;eacute; cumquat, ginger - or whatever glac&amp;eacute; fruit you like instead of the pear - and you could use a mixture of fruit and nuts. I'd recommend macadamia nuts. Some conversions: 300g = approximately 91/2 ounces; 250g = 8 ounces; 60g = 2 ounces; 40g = 11/3 ounces.  For the BEST results, do use top quality chocolate, such as Lindt 70% cocoa. It is different from other cakes in that it uses grated raw and not cooked mashed pumpkin and can easily be adapted to suit your families liking as theres a lot of things that can be added in or left out.

			<description>Even though the phrase &amp;quot;leftover pumpkin&amp;quot; doesn't exist in my household, most people often wonder what to do with the leftover pumpkin after making a pumpkin pie. I like to make this tasty, simple, and quick dessert when I have a huge can of pumpkin I haven't completely gone through. Whole milk and cinnamon rice milk really work best for this recipe, but some tasty variations that really add to this pudding's richness are vanilla rice or soy milk, and Silk Pumpkin  Pie flavored soy milk (which is only seasonal, I wish it was available year-round! And is it just me or does Silk Pumpkin Pie Soymilk taste just like Silk Nog that's available around Christmas, only they package it differently? So if you're making it around Christmas, use Silk Nog!) This awesome dessert is great for parties and potlucks,

It has made it way to many a Girl Scout mtg, school party, potluck, etc.   Tea Cakes became my family's favorite cookie at the holidays.  It isn't Christmas without a platter of these &amp;amp; a bag for everyone to take home. 			<title>Peanut Butter Cookies</title>

			<description>This recipe makes enough for a family reunion (I halved the recipe and still had 4 dozen cookies).  I've posted the recipe as originally written.  I really like the seasonings--cinnamon, ginger, and cloves.   It makes a nice twist on a classic treat.  Next time I'll skip the shortening and use real butter (just a personal preference).  I'd also dip my fork in white sugar and press them in a criss cross pattern after they come out of the oven instead of before.
