Chocolate Almond Crumb Crust

This is so good, and can be used with pies and cheesecakes. Try to use toasted whole almonds for this it really makes a huge difference in the taste, I make a triple recipe, divide into three equal potions, use one and then freeze the other two in freezer bags to have ready for when I need it for a recipe. This crust is well worth making. -- posted by KITTENCAL

Choco-Walnut Pie Crust (Shell)

This would be great for all those chilled summer pie fillings. This pie crust is really a pie shell and it would be best used with a cooled filling. Definitely a no-bake pie shell! I suppose you could change the semi-sweet chocolate with other types of chocolate, like bittersweet.
You will need a pie pan and aluminum foil or plastic wrap. -- posted by Nana Lee

Millionaires Shortbread - Chocolate, Ginger and Caramel Slices

My Mum used to make these for School fetes and Church bazaars - they are absolutely sinful and totally divine! They were everyone's favourite, so I used to zoom around beforehand, with my pocket money burning a hole in my pocket, to make sure I bought some before they all went!! A fun name with delicious layers of shortbread, caramel and a chocolate topping. This recipe has the added surprise of adding stem ginger pieces, which was not usual in my Mum's orginal recipe. These do keep for up to a week in an airtight tin or container.....I have never known them last more then 24 hours however - you WILL have to HIDE them!!! They a great for packed lunches and picnics, as well as with afternoon coffee. -- posted by French Tart
