From: "Classic Vegetarian Cooking from the Middle East & North Africa"- Morroco. This is a great refreshing drink.
This is a perfect recipe if you're wondering what to do with all those slightly over-the-hill, bruised, juicy to bursting point plums!
Tropical Passion Rum Punch

This recipe came about one day when we had an interesting juice in the house, a great thirst and a desire for something a little different.
This is definitely not for the kids.
The name came from the location...we live in Jamaica (Tropical), and the colour...sort of a purple which comes from the pink of the Juice and the blue in the curacao (Purple passion) and the possible outcome....
This is a no fooling around Rum Punch..approach with caution and enjoy.

Please note: I used Guava-Pineapple Juice which has a pink colour, but any combination of tropical juices Mango with Pineapple etc. will work. The pineapple seems to be key. I use Appleton's Rum because it is Jamaican and great Rum. -- posted by Donalda

Frothy Blue Punch (Baby Shower/Young Boy's Party)

I created this punch recipe by combining ideas from lots of others--the 'blue' ingredient that most of the other recipes on this site call for are actually not available here, so I had to find some substitutes!
Summer Watermelon Mojito

This recipe came from my friends Wendy and Robin. They are fabulous, the recipe is fabulous. Coincidence? I think NOT. :-)

If you want to make 1 or 2, just keep the watermelon chunks in the freezer until they're ready to use and muddle them in the glass or throw in a small blender or food processor. -- posted by I_Cook_For_Firemen

Cranberry Raspberry Non-Alcoholic Fruit Punch

This is a very simple, quick recipe that I put together with what I happened to have available. The result is quite tasty! The splenda is partly for offsetting the tartness from the citrus fruit wedges in the drink- if you don't use citrus fruits in the punch, taste test it before adding any sweetener.
Lavender and Strawberry Fruit Cup from Wolds Way Lavender Farm

A boozy lavender fruit cup made with vermouth, herbs and fresh strawberries! How good is that! This is another gem of a recipe that I discovered on a recipe card from Wolds Way Lavender Farm in North Yorkshire, England – which is just 10 minutes from my parent's cottage. The delicately flavoured drink is the perfect way to unwind after a long, hard day........It is almost better than Pimms, and, as Pimms is my favourite summertime tipple, that is really saying something!
White Sangria

Fresh, sweet and fruity - goes well with tapas or as a light cocktail, I even drink it with paella! Slightly different from the traditional one which calls for red wine, but I just can't drink red wine when it's too hot outside, so I tried with white wine and it turned out just as great.
Feel free to sub any other type of fruit according to season or taste, and where possible use liqueurs that match. -- posted by AdriMicina

One of the best days that my son had in Kindergarden was the day his teacher made Firefly Juice! My picky 5 year old had his teacher write out the recipe and brought the delicious mixture home from school. This recipe is for a large batch, but we also can make a glass at a time just using smaller amounts. We love it! It's really is good! Cute name. Easy. Fun.
Homemade Lemonade

I make this by the gallons every summer very refreshing!
This summer I made 3 1 gallon jars of this lemonade for Erika's 4Th birthday party we bought the extra - large peanut glass jars at Wal - Mart and they looked really pretty sitting on the counter top and island in the kitchen with the raspberries and sliced lemons floating in the lemonade in the jars with the ice glistening in the sun coming in through the kitchen windows. There was not a drop left after the Birthday Party! Although Deb, Erika's mom did ask for a special request more sugar to go in the lemonade than I usually use so it was much "sweeter" and not as tangy but still very refreshing on a very hot and special day for Erika! -- posted by oilpatchjo

I got this recipe from my Spanish teacher, who was from Bogota, in the early 1970s. Because of the long chilling time, the fruit gets kind of funny-looking, but it's wonderful to eat when the sangria is gone! I'm guessing at the number of servings.
Frozen Festive Vodka or Tequila Bottles With Herbs and Berries

Another GREAT Jamie Oliver recipe, and one that I am preparing for New Year's Eve! Jamie says you can use any spirits or liquor, but he suggestes vodka and tequila in his recipe. These bottles look SO festive and pretty, I plan to use holly, berries, bay leaves, fruit slices, ivy and woody herbs for my bottles this year. DO check that the liquor bottle fits INSIDE the plastic water bottle first! This recipe idea for serving liquor originates from Scandinavia. This recipe should make enough punch for 3 punch bowls...with 2 bottles of Sprite for each bowl.
Wedding Punch

I've made this punch for several weddings, parties and showers and it always goes over well! From the 1986 Southern Living Annual Recipes. I haven't made it with champagne, but I am sure it would be delicous that way! Take time to make the ice ring; it really makes the punch perfect! If you need to make a lot of this, you can make the punch up to the point where you chill the base and instead freeze it. I've made enough for 100 people this way with good results. Also, the original recipe calls for a 28-ounce bottle of tonic water. I just always use the full 1 liter bottle.
Preparation time includes a swag on how long it takes to make the ice ring. Cooking time is just the time to combine the base, ice ring and carbonated beverage. -- posted by DeniseBC
