Chocolate and Coffee Baked Cheesecake

This lusciously smooth cheesecake is a coffee lover's dream! The marriage of the chocolate and coffee flavours is truly divine and was loved by all at our family dinner party. The chocolate along the base of the cheesecake developes a melt-in-your-mouth texture after baking adding further character to this brilliant indulgence. It is a very attractive looking cheesecake that will definitely impress all those that see or try it! -- posted by Brittney_xo

Paula Deen's Decadent Chocolate Layer Cake

This layered cake looks "normal" from the outside, but inside there is a delicious layer of almond-flavored cheesecake. This recipe will make 1 (9-inch) cake and 1 (9-inch) cheesecake. The frosting recipe should make about 5 cups of frosting. You may want to make the cheesecake before the chocolate cake because it needs to refrigerate for 4 hours. -- posted by Lainey6605

The Triple Kaylee Special

Some friends and I were contemplating the possibility of creating various flavours of cheesecake (yes, I know there are recipes for such a thing out there, but it is so much more fun to do it yourself) when I suddenly got this idea. I just took a regular New York Cheesecake recipe and altered it for my purposes. Named after the girl who sort of inspired its creation with her love of peanut butter, the Triple Kaylee Special is still in a bit of an experimental stage. I would appreciate any feedback and/or ideas from more experienced cooks. I have used both a springform pan and a 9x13 inch baking dish for this before, and the springform pan seems to work best. The center did not set quite as well in the baking dish. NOTE: If the recipe is prepared as I have written it, it is important that the peanut butter layer be on the bottom, as it is heavier and more solid than the chocolate layer. -- posted by Hallawe MacLean

Milk Chocolate Cheesecake

If you are a lover of milk chocolate, this is for you! With all of the different types of chocolate, this is a nice rest from them. I, for one, like the comforting taste of the milk chocolate. This is from the Food Network, and is it ever delish!! . This is a beautiful and elegant dessert when topped with the raspberries, whipped cream, and more. You can also put some sour cream and melted chocolate mixed together to go on the top. It's up to you how "dressed up" you want to go.
Strawberries would also work here, as well as white chocolate curls.
Tip: I bought some nice shakers (the silver ones with the handle, usually for powdered sugar) at the dollar store. I put the following in the shakers, for the times when you just want a little extra on your desserts; cocoa powder, cinnamon, hot chocolate mix (milk cocolate), powdered sugar, granulated sugar, and even some colored sugar. These are all easy to have on hand and they bring just the right touch you your desserts. -- posted by FLUFFSTER

Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake

My mom absolutely loves cheesecake and those chocolate turtle candies, so one year for her birthday I found this recipe online. I was probably 14 years old. I planned ahead and bought all the ingredients myself. Then I had my aunt suggest that we all go for a walk on her birthday afternoon. After a while my grandma said she was tired so I offered to go home with her. We made the cheesecake together while they were out and surprised her. Since then I have made this cheesecake for my moms birthday many times and she always loves it. -- posted by Missy in Montana

Cinnamon and Coffee Cheesecake

From *A Gourmet Book of Tea and Coffee* by Lesley Mackley, this dessert is so easy-to-fix & so good that it almost has to be made & tasted to be believed. Cheesecakes are rich & I love them, but I find it annoying that they are usually too sweet, too heavy & too large. This cheesecake is less sweet, lighter in texture & more appropriately sized as it is baked in an 8-in rd spring-form cake tin. I modified the butter & sugar amts slightly & gave both US & metric measurements as the recipe did. (Time does not include cooling or chilling under refrigeration time) *Enjoy* ! -- posted by twissis

Black and White Cheesecake (Pressure Cooker)

From Lorna Sass's book "The Pressured Cook". This recipe requires a 7-inch springform pan.
It is a very rich, crustless, chocolate marbled cheesecake. Sometimes this cheesecake emerges from the pressure cooker looking "rustic" (with some peaks and valleys on top), but the flavor is dependably wonderful! This cheesecake will get firmer and denser when refrigerated overnight. For best flavor, bring to room temp before serving. This cheesecake freezes well. DO NOT SUBSTITUTE reduced fat products in this recipe, they contain more water and will not set up properly!
Cooking Time includes 15 minutes for natural release.

White Chocolate Strawberry Dessert Cake

Sinful is the only way to describe this decadent dessert from TOH. It is a white chocolate cake with a white chocolate cheesecake filling and finished with a white chocolate strawberry whipped cream topping. It has it all! I am not a baker usually but even I couldn't mess this one up it was so easy. It works equally well with blueberries, raspberries, etc. -- posted by JPsBarbie

Special Occasion Chocolate Truffle Cheesecake

This is an extravagant splurge, so please cut the pieces in skinny slivers and the calorie count isn't so damaging! Make sure the cream cheese is at room temp for the best consistency of the batter. Try using orange flavoring instead of the usual vanilla--the orange and the chocolate will POP in your mouth. Cooking time does NOT include chilling time...so please PLAN AHEAD---this needs time to chill. Gotta love those folks at Gooseberry Patch--for always publishing such excellent recipes! It's particularly nice and very suitable for people who are diabetic or for people on a low-carb or low-fat diet. It's only 220 calories per slice and fits right into Weight Watchers Points = 5 points. I made this cheesecake to take to my friend's home for an afternoon "tea!" There was nothing left!!
Chocolate Orange Cheesecake With Orange-Tangerine Glaze

I love the combination of chocolate and orange and they unite wonderfully in this recipe. We usually make this for Christmas but it would be good anytime of the year.

If you cannot find orange and tangerine marmalade, substitute orange marmalade. I like to drizzle chocolate ganache over the marmalade glaze which creates a beautiful presentation. Make the cheesecake 1-2 days in advance to allow the flavors to bloom.

This recipe was in the Sunday paper in an article about foods for different astrological signs. I haven't tried it but it does sound interesting. For the curious, this is supposed to be for the sign Aquarius, who are into "offbeat, multicultural takes."
Notes: puree chipotles with a little of the adobo sauce. If preferred, bake cheesecake in a graham cracker crust. To sweeten cheesecake, substitute bittersweet or semi-sweet chocolate or garnish with whipped cream. -- posted by Ducky

One of Betty Crocker's impossibly easy pies, and it truly is easy. This makes a tasty family-sized pie, which is nicely minted, studded with chocolate chips and covered with a smooth chocolate topping. If you'd like a larger pie, double all the ingredients and bake in a 9x13-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. It will take about 30-37 minutes. The original recipe calls for a graham or cookie crumb crust baked in a 9" springform pan, but I am sure you can use a pre-made deep dish graham crust.
