Parmesan Cheese Dip / Spread

This yummy recipe comes from my friend Elaine. She brought it to a party and after only one bite everyone was asking for the recipe. It is very good with your favorite crackers but is even better w/ sliced fresh bread. I think it would even be good over steamed broccoli as well.
Pioneer Woman's Mystery (Blue Cheese) Rolls

I found this recipe on the Pioneer Woman blog site. I have tried several of her recipes and loved them. I have not yet tried this one. Just putting it here for safe-keeping. It looks like she used Pilsbury Golden Layer cans of biscuits. I am guessing at the number of rolls that it makes. It would depend on the brand of biscuits you selected. She states that these freeze well. Just flash freeze them and put them in a Ziploc. Then microwave, from frozen stage, for 13 seconds -- posted by Chef #1107673

Paula Deen's Cheese Straws

Tasty little morsels from a collection of Paula Deen's recipes featured in the Nov 09 issue of Good Housekeeping. Cheese straws must have been the inspiration for Cheez-Its (which I happen to love). These are cheesy, buttery, and delicious. A nice savory little treat, and very simple.
Pierogie Casserole

This is one of the first recipes I learned while away at college. Its a very simple side dish or main course. And great to take for a potluck dinner. This recipe freezes nicely and the leftovers are wonderful the next day. If you want, you can sauté onions in some butter and serve on the side. I would recommend using an 8x8 casserole dish and trimming the lasagna noodles to fit, but you can certainly use a 9x13; just add an extra sheet of lasagna to each layer. Enjoy!! -- posted by coffybean

Cheese & Butter Green Peas

Have kids who hate green peas? Well, everyone seems to have that problem! I randomly added cheese & butter to my green peas (despite being a lover of peas) and it tasted great! In fact, at the end of the day, I got more sick of the cheese than peas. Amount of cheese? One slice. (: This is even for the health-conscious...enjoy! For me, I can polish off the whole thing, but to be on the safe side serve this for two. (: You can do this for just about any vegetable, in particular non-leafy ones like carrots & peas. -- posted by Chef #1531879

Crock-Pot Ricotta

Make your own ricotta cheese in your crockpot! The acid you choose will affect the final flavor. Apple cider vinegar will give a sharper tang, a distinct odor, and a subtle golden color; this is probably best for savory applications. Lemon juice will give a subtler flavor and will not curdle as abruptly. For the cleanest, purest flavor, use distilled white vinegar. If you don't like or can't find the goat's milk, you can sub another quart of low-fat cow's milk. -- posted by DrGaellon
