Martha Stewart's Potato Salad

The dressing can be made up to two days ahead and stored, refrigerated, in an airtight container. -- posted by talbotc

Galley Salad

The is a hearty, restaurant-sized salad with lots of meats. The original recipe came from "Mickey's Gourmet Cookbook" and a version of This salad is on the menu at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. Posted by request. Please note that this is a restaurant-sized lunch entrée portion, hence the very high number of calories, fat etc. You certainly may use reduced fats meat & cheese to reduce the calories, or simply serve it to more people. This same amount could serve 2 people easily, and perhaps even 3. -- posted by HeatherFeather

Parsley Salad Ala Nigella Lawson

This very unusual salad is very pretty and unique. This may not be for everyone's taste buds, but is a pleasant change from the norm. I saw this prepared on the tv program "Nigella Bites." It would go well with Meditteranean or Middle Eastern style dishes and is a nice compliment to grilled chicken or fish. Be sure to only use fresh ingredients. I don't serve this as a side salad on its own, but rather, as a bed for salmon or other fish. -- posted by HeatherFeather

Made this tonight for my "Survivor" dinner group and it was great. Easy and fast to do with a food processor and the flavor was perfect. I was concerned about 4 teaspoons of celery seed, but it was just right. I'm definitely adding this to my favorites.
Vortex World Famous Potato Salad

The name says it all, a fantastic potato salad from a top Atlanta restaurant, The Vortex Bar and Grill on Peachtree Avenue. I agree with the reviewer that the cooking time does seem like a long time however, this recipe is from the Vortex Restaurant, and this was the way it appeared in the San Antonio Express News. Therefore each chef should be aware of this and make your own adjustments. -- posted by Miss Annie

Andreas Viestad's New Potato Salad With Herbs and Green Beans

Another beautiful dish from "Kitchen of Light" by Andreas Viestad... this one's for Lennie! It's a wonderful potato salad with a light vinaigrette and lots of herbs. I personally have to have mint in this dish; but another herb may be one of your favorites (and the actual measurement as written is "a large handful" of chopped herbs; I'm estimating that it's about 2/3; use more or less as you wish). And, I usually omit capers in any dish; I just don't like the little things! -- posted by EdsGirlAngie

Souplantation's Joan's Broccoli Madness Salad (Sweet Tomato's)

I had this at a chain salad bar style restaurant in FL called Sweet Tomato's and found it on-line. Souplantation is another name for the chain. It was yummy. I make bacon in the microwave to save time and for easy clean up. If you use precooked baxon bits, this is a no-cook recipe. I think freshly crisped bacon is best but the other will do. -- posted by Oolala

Watermelon and Feta Salad With Serrano Chile Vinaigrette

"Sweet, salty, tangy, and hot. This salad hits all the points of your palate," says chef Hugh Acheson, head chef of Five&Ten in Athens, Georgia. InStyle magazine claims this is the "Summer's Best Salad" in their June 09 Issue.
The season's most refreshing dish combines tasty watermelon and feta spiked with chiles. This appetizing recipe goes well with grilled chicken, but you can also serve it as a sophisticated dessert. -- posted by College Girl
