			<title>Campfire S'mores (Aka Robinson Crusoes)</title>

			<description>If you like regular S'mores, you're going to LOVE these!   Start with chocolate graham crackers, smear on some creamy peanut butter, add the chocolate candy pieces, the melty marshmallow; then top with the other square of graham cracker.   THE TRICK to making these perfectly is being patient while the marshmallow is roasting....don't stick it into the fire, twirl it slowly over the warmth, so that it starts to swell up.   That's your signal that the inside is getting all soft and smooshy--just right for perfect s'mores.    I first made these back in the early 90's when taking 10 girls on a church youth camp-out in eastern Washington State.   We cooked all our meals over the open-fire (no campstove!!) including chocolate chip pancakes MADE FROM SCRATCH, pioneer hotdogs (yum, yum!) and caramel apples roasted in the coals. In Spain I lived with a local family and everyone had a variation of this breakfast each day. It really hits the spot and with some fruit it is a well-balanced breakfast. This is a great way for kids to have fun learning about other parts of the world and works well with a class of schoolchildren. This cake needs no frosting, there is a crispy sugary shell that forms on top with a moist cake and cinnamon struesal center .(See my photos, I've tried to capture the inside and out) Traditional Bundt cakes serve 12 but you can serve 18 with this one just cut the slices a little thinner..... but you might want a huge piece after your house smells like a gigantic snickerdoodle cookie while it's baking! I created this when I was eighteen and we did a lot of entertaining...usually bring your own meat bbq's lol.  I like it because it has everything in it, including it's own bacon bits, travels well, can be prepared ahead of time and gets rave reviews every time and is most always requested.  Note: Depending on what meat I am serving I will add an appropriate herb to my potatoe eg: if I am cooking lamb I will add rosemary to my potatoe. You need jumbo muffin tins to get the 14 muffins from this - regular tins will yield more muffins &amp;amp; likely need a slightly shortened cooking time. Should be getting about 11 grams of protein &amp;amp; 9 grams of fiber with about 32 grams of fat - but a lot of that is coming from the seeds &amp;amp; canola oil. 			<description>I used to work in the kitchen of a summer camp back in the day and we would always make this recipe for the kids at snack time and set some out for breakfast. During the breakfast hours I would see some kids pour milk over it and have it as a kind of makeshift cereal. Of course we would make this in tremendous quantities so I've had to do some math and lessen the ingredient amounts needed. So just a quick tip: if you decide to double this recipe, please use 3 large eggs instead of 4 small eggs. 			<description>Not the most descriptive recipe title, perhaps, but this is what my friend calls it and I like the name, so there you go. Nothing wakes up your camp-mates like the warmth of a campfire and the sounds and smells of sausage, bacon, and veggies. You will NEED a REAL camping dutch oven (get the cast-iron kind with the little legs and the lip on top for putting coals on the lid - if you camp much, this is well worth the investment). You will also need two hot-pads, tongs, and a heat-resistant spatula. A long-sleeve shirt and leather gloves are recommended so that you don't singe your arms and hands. I really like the seasonings--cinnamon, ginger, and cloves.   It makes a nice twist on a classic treat.  Next time I'll skip the shortening and use real butter (just a personal preference).  I'd also dip my fork in white sugar and press them in a criss cross pattern after they come out of the oven instead of before.
