Easy Chocolate Bundt Cake

I received this delicious recipe from my husband's aunt several years ago after devouring this cake at a family dinner (I even had the leftovers for breakfast the next morning!). It is super-easy to make and is one of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had. This cake tastes even better the next day and freezes extremely well. I usually use a little of the chocolate cakemix instead of white flour to flour the pan so that you don't see any white specks on the cake. It's so rich that I usually don't use frosting. I usually use Duncan Hines fudge cakemix and Jello pudding mix. Makes a great presentation at potlucks and dinner parties. The best thing is that this cake doesn't taste at all like it came from a mix. Enjoy! -- posted by dahlia

Frozen Creamsicle Cake

I served this to my dinner club last weekend to their great delight. It may seem like a lot of steps, but is actually very simple, and a great make-ahead.
No-Cook Strawberry Jam

Recipe is from Karo Sweet and simple recipe Cookbook 1992. Notes on No Cook Jams: Since no cook jams require no heat processing, they are more brightly colored, fruitier and fresher tasting than cooked fruit jams. Use firm, fully ripe, unblemished fruit. Chop quickly in small quantities using a blender, food processor or grinder. (to prevent some fruits like peaches, pears, and apricots from darkening, add lemon juice.) Corn syrup enhances fresh fruit flavor and blend easily. Freezer jams can be made with any fruit except fresh pineapple. Blueberries are best used as a secondary fruit in a combination. -- posted by 1Steve

Sanders' Chocolate Bumpy Cake

This is a very sweet rich and decadent dessert. It looks very fancy when done but is pretty easy for a novice cook to put together. The recipe says it serves 24 but I think that would be stretching it a bit as the slices would be rather thin to get that many.
Pick-Your-Flavor Ice Cream Cake

This is better than any Dairy Queen frozen cake! ---experiment using different flavors of ice cream and toppings, the possibilities are endless, small Oreo cookies and Oreo ice cream works well --- homemade soft cookies will not work for the crust, the cookies must be hard --- prep time includes 5 hour freezing time --- this is *SO* good! -- posted by KITTENCAL

Strawberry Ice Cream Dessert

Get out your springform pan! I found this wonderful recipe in a magazine--I think it was Taste of Home. This a great dessert for a get together and on a nice summer evening. It is so easy to make and so yummy. I was really happy with the way this turned out. The prep time includes the bake time (8 minutes) for the crust and the cook time is the freeze time all together. -- posted by punkyluv

Lemony Cheesecake With Berry Sauce (Raw Vegan)

Mmmm, cheesecake! A healthy, guilt-free version with lots of living enzymes. If you use raw ingredients, and virgin, unrefined, coconut oil (preferably organic), this recipe is so good for you! It looks like a lot of coconut oil, but it works out to less than 1 tbsp per slice, and that's less than the recommended daily amount to get all those wonderful fatty acids they're talking about with coconut oil these days. So, well, hey, have a 2nd slice! :-) We love this cheesecake and we're rarely without one in our freezer "just in case". There are lots of raw cheesecake recipes floating around the 'net, and after trying many of them, this is our version, taking little bits of each and doing what we like with it. I also tend to make more than one at a time, and keep them in the freezer, so I don't have to make them as often. :) -- posted by RawFoodNut

Chocolate Wafer Cookie Ice Cream Cake

This is a great birthday cake, that's simple dimple to make, from televisions cooking show host of Ciao Italia, Mary Ann Esposito! She is the longest running cooking show host in history. She is a wonderful person, and I had the great privilege of meeting her many years ago, as she lives next to the town I used to live in, and she was guest speaker at a womens luncheon that I attended. Her husband, Guy Esposite is a well known doctor in Dover NH. NOTE: Cooking time is freezing time, and I would freeze it for at least 2 hours. NOTE: Please see my recipe for

Frozen Layered Vanilla Raspberry Cake

From Taste of Home site, this was a huge hit when I served it to friends. Everyone loved it, but someone suggested it would be "over the moon" with a little chocolate. So next time, I'll probably replace one of the sorbet layers with chocolate ice cream or sorbet. Either way, it's easy and delicous as it stands. As written, it's 5 WW pts per serving.

Fro. Cheesecake... Whatwhat?

Okay so this is just an ordinary cheesecake with a little twist. I remember this recipe because my manager and I was trying to figure out how to make a cheesecake unique and great. Some people uses sour cream and some people don't. Some uses evap. milk and some people dont. We werent exactly sure what would taste better and what would make the cake smooth or etc. So we came up with this! HOPE YOU ENJOY IT!

You will need a Springform pan or if you dont have won, just use a 9inch round pan with foil paper. Make sure to wrap the whole pan with foil!

As for toppings, you may use anything you like.
Whipped cream
Strawberries or blueberries or cherry or any fruits
Strawberry or chocolate syrups. Any syrups to your liking.
Almonds, walnuts, pecans... Any type nuts to your liking. -- posted by BOOMBAMBONBON!

Boston Cream Pie

An ancient Good Housekeeping recipe that I religiously make every New Years day. If you've never made a scratch cake, you don't know what you're missing. Using cake flour is a must. See Lennie's recipe #87689. Be sure to properly measure your flour by lightly spooning into a measure cup until overflowing then using the backside of a knife to level off. Too little flour will produce a callapsed cake and too much will have wet spots with dense layers. Cake layers freezeable.

Prep time also includes assembly time. -- posted by gailanng
