			<description>My friends and family are always getting on me to publish my recipes; I don't really use them, nor do I regularly remember even what I put into my dishes. I took this dish to a vegan potluck last night, and it disappeared in seconds. This morning I was awoken at gun point (exaggerated for dramatic effect) to post this recipe.... So, I thought it wise of me to comply. This recipe takes me about an hour of prep time, and about an hour to cook. There are shortcuts one may take to cut down on the prep time, but the first time, I suggest leaving ample time to prepare. I have used a variety of nuts for this recipe, all working out well (this last time I ran out of sesame seeds, so I used 2 tbsp of my tamari roasted pumpkin seeds, and 1 tbsp of raw pecans). I also like to make my dishes gluten free for potlucks, so I used &amp;frac12; cup of blue corn meal, and &amp;frac12; garbanzo flour in place of the whole wheat pastry flour, the taste was amazing, but a little more crumbly then whole wheat pastry flower. 			<description>Oh my gosh these are AWESOME!  This can of pineapple on the counter was calling to me, and my husband can't eat wheat, so if I make pancakes they're gonna have oats in them.  Plus, the Tahitian Pancakes came up on Heroes in the past week or so, so that's on my mind.
I combined two different recipes that I found online, one for pineapple pancakes and one for oatmeal pancakes.  Neither one is like this new version though.  SO AWESOME!  
One last thing, I used coconut milk instead of cow milk, since my husband is also on this non-dairy kick.

You will NEED a REAL camping dutch oven (get the cast-iron kind with the little legs and the lip on top for putting coals on the lid - if you camp much, this is well worth the investment). You will also need two hot-pads, tongs, and a heat-resistant spatula. A long-sleeve shirt and leather gloves are recommended so that you don't singe your arms and hands. 			<description>A few years back I was visiting friends in LA, and after a long day of fishing, a wonderful dinner with fresh fish of course, the next day we all woke up famished. Well ... biscuits with sausage gravy was the request, but I wanted to do something a little cajun. Our last vacation day, so it was clean out the fridge, but still trying to make something that resembled biscuits with sausage gravy. After a quick run to a local quick stop to get some cream and biscuits we were set. Well this is the creation, and it is really good. The only thing I have changed since I returned is that I love to add some scallions right at the end for a fresh flavor, but otherwise, pretty much the same.  Make this for a breakfast/brunch for family this holiday season.  And if you don't want to use andouille, use a spicy or mild sausage along with the cajun spices. And if you bake, make your own biscuits. I'm just not much of a baker, so I take a short cut and use a canned biscuit. We served this with some scrambled eggs and Bloody Mary's (it was the last day of vacation).
