Cinnamon and Raisin Bread

This recipe is from the recipe leaflet that came with my bread machine. I increased the cinnamon by 1 teaspoon, the raisins by 1 tablespoon and added the orange zest to give it more flavor, but feel free to adjust it to your own taste (I just like the flavor of cinnamon) This recipe uses fast acting yeast because it is made using the rapid cycle. Leftover slices are great for making French toast. Ignore the cooking time I have given, it can be different with your machine setting. -- posted by Pets'R'us

Bread Machine Fruit Loaf

This came from my bread machine recipe book. I have made it a number of times and it comes out lovely. Fantastic as a breakfast toasted and buttered! Yum! I have altered the recipe slightly so that it is compatible with all of you. An Australian tablespoon = 4 tsp (20ml), so I have converted all measurements to teaspoons to avoid confusion. If you have a sweet bread cycle I'd recommend using that, but otherwise I'm pretty sure ordinary would work fine. I have frozen slices in plastic bags, so I always have some on hand if I get a craving. Nutella makes a good spread for this. -- posted by Sassy Syrah

Grandma's Best Cinnamon Rolls

This is from a clipping from a magazine dated 1997 I mix the dough in the bread machine on the dough cycle. And then shape, rise and bake in the oven. The rolls are tender and I like the oatmeal. I finished them off with some icing I had left over from a spanich bar cake that I made a few days before. This is a good recipe if you are home getting ready for overnight guests, the bread machine does a lot of the work, and your guests think you spent hours making these.
Fantastic Cinnamon Raisin Bread

The title says it all. This is so good. This is a sweet bread, great for breakfast or snack. I must warn you, it touched the top of my breadmaker. It is too good not to share. I changed another recipe and added some things. My additions were the raisins and cinnamon. It origially was suppose to make a 1 1/2 lb. loaf. I didn't think the raisons and cinnamon would have add that much, but I guess it did. You might want to adjust to make a 1 1/2lb. loaf because I will list this as a 2 lb. loaf. It is so good! It knead the heck out of the raisins so there is little bits all through the bread. Chewy, sweet and moist. I used sugar free syrup to cut down on sugar. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family does. Please leave feedback. -- posted by 000

Whole Wheat Breakfast Rolls (A B M)

I don't normally have a lot of time for breakfast in the morning. I'm also trying to move towards eating more whole grains. This recipe is my own creation to fill those needs, loosely based on some recipes I looked at for both oatmeal and anadama bread in the bread machine. I get 16 rolls out of this. They're pretty dense and filling. One of my best friends tried these, and her comment was "This is really good. But it tastes so HEALTHY." Exactly what I was trying to accomplish. These are great with some peanut butter and fruit jam for breakfast on-the-go. -- posted by dividend

Traditional Fruity and Spiced Hot Cross Buns: Bread-Maker

A wonderful old family recipe for HUGE and very light spiced Hot Cross Buns! I discovered that most of the hard work is taken out of making these, by proving & kneading them in the Bread Maker/Machine......unless you NEED to expel any frustrations, and then you MUST knead these yourself! You can make the crosses by either marking them before baking or, as I have done, by putting thinly rolled pastry crosses on top. An absolute "must" for the Spring and Easter Tea table! I also make these throughout the rest of the year - minus the crosses - for fruity, spiced English style teacakes! -- posted by French Tart

Delicious Cinnamon Rolls (Abm)

Somehow, just the scent of cinnamon rolls bring to mind a warm and cozy house. I had a real estate agent tell me to bake something with cinnamon when showing my house. Cinnamon is comforting, so get comforting! Prep time and servings will vary. These two are guestimated.I almost forgot, I sold my house! Sometimes I add a little maple flavoring or orange juice to my icing, just for something different. -- posted by FLUFFSTER

Terri's Cinnamon Raisin Bread (Bread Machine)

I changed the recipe from a bread machine recipe book I have to make it a little healthier and taste a little better for the kids. This makes one EXTRA LARGE loaf. This bread is GREAT with honey, or toasted and add peanut butter, or for peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Also, makes a good dessert when toasted, buttered, and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar! Try this sometime for breakfast when you are making french toast!!! :) Mmmmmmm.... -- posted by Some1sGrandma

Brioche With Chocolate Chips Abm

Posting so I don't lose this one. So rich, so good, so easy with an automatic bread machine. This was given to me by a French work colleague who got it from a friend off of a French ABM recipe site. If the chocolate chips aren't frozen, or even if they are, they melt easily and you may wind up with chocolate swirl brioche, which is still good. Sometimes it works out ok for me and sometimes it doesn't. Put in the order your machine needs and use the sweet bread setting. -- posted by Kasha

Sour Cream Cinnamon Vanilla Bread, Abm

This is a scrumptious sweet bread that is very fitting for any holiday breakfast or just when you want something special. This also works with Splenda in place of the sugar. Baking time is however long your machine takes. *EDIT*: On Jan 22 2009, I reduced the flour amount by a 1/2 cup and increased the sour cream from 1/3 to 1/2 cup. This will improve the workablity of the recipe. Thank you reviewers. -- posted by Annacia

Another Cinnabon-Type Cinnamon Bun

This recipe is my adaptation of a really good recipe I found on The Gordon Family website. (http://www.gordonfamily.com/Recipes/cinnabon.htm). I adapted the dough recipe a little and use more filling than they recommend but their Cream Cheese Frosting is FAR better than any other I've ever found. I think the secret is in the use of lemon extract as well as vanilla. It creates just the right tartness. They suggest beating the frosting about 10 minutes but I never have and I have made this a thousand times. Everyone I know loves these buns. Hope you enjoy them as much as we do. -- posted by Marysdottir

Breadmaker Granola

Make healthy Granola to use in trail mix or over yogurt for a healthy breakfast...in your breadmaker! I use about a 1/3 cup scoop of this over about 1/3 cup - 1/2 cup plain natural yogurt for my breakfast every day. I also found this to be an easy, filling and healthy camping breakfast with the individual size yogurts thrown in the cooler.
