Shanghai Noodles

FYI: The 1TB of olive oil is an approximation, I usually just eyeball it, so you may need more or less.
And for all you Monk fans..."Adding to the list Bok Choy." -- posted by Sirpezy

Kung Pao Tofu Rice Salad

This is a surprisingly satisfying vegetarian salad. I got the recipe from Leanne Ely's "Saving Dinner" e-mail service. I have since stopped using the service, but this recipe remains a family favourite. We are meat-eaters but enjoy this anyway! Cooking time is time to cook rice. If you plan ahead and use your rice cooker, this is a very quick meal to throw together! I *think* this is vegan but it might depend on the brands of soy and hoisin sauces you use. -- posted by Gingernut

Spicy Beef With Shrimp and Bok Choy

In my search for recipes using bok choy, I ran across this recipe on Yahoo.com I am trying to introduce my family to new ingedients and they have never eaten bok choy. This sounds like a delish recipe and preparation should be simple. Cook and prep times noted are estimates as I have not yet prepared this stir fry. This would be good served over rice noodles or brown basmati rice. If you try it before I do, please share your thoughts in the review process. NOTE: Shao Hsing (or Shaoxing) is a seasoned rice wine. It is available in most Asian specialty markets and some larger supermarkets in the Asian section. If unavailable, dry sherry is an acceptable substitute. -- posted by Happy Hippie

Baby Bok Choy in the Wok

This is a fast and easy recipe for cooking bok choy or baby bok choy. You can adjust the amount of flavor by adding more or less sake/soy sauce mixture (use equal amounts). We've found that adding the sesame oil at the end gives it more sesame flavor, but you could also just cook the bok choy in a mixture of vegetable and sesame oil. When in doubt, it's best to slightly undercook the bok choy. -- posted by Chef #910147

Yakisoba (Japanese Spaghetti) 5 Ww Points

This was pulled from the ww community. It's a yummy favorite. Great to reheat for lunch. Great as a main dish. I sometimes add peanuts, shrimp, or other protein. Substitute veggies or pasta, or your personal favorites. Napa cabbage can be used instead of bok choy. -- posted by scarysheree

Mongolian Hot Pot

I am posting this recipe because it was in a cookbook I received from NE Lady in the cookbook swap March 2009. I was intrigued by the picture in the cookbook; however, mine didn't turn out looking like the picture! I had way too many noodles and too little broth. The cookbook, "Soups for Any Body" states that it is a mix between a soup and a stew. Mine was pretty thick, so I would add more beef stock to the recipe. I'd also serve more soy sauce with each serving, and allow each diner to add their hot pepper oil. If you let your meat marinate while you chop the vegetables, it gets on the table pretty quickly! I did change it a little...I increased the meat by 4 oz. -- posted by breezermom

Vegetarian Lasagna Chapala

A rich, deep, "meaty" lasagna that will fool most meat eaters!!!! I use the food processor to do all the mincing. Here in Mexico I use requeson with a little crema Mexicana in place of the ricotta. The noodles in this lasagna are not boiled. Be sure to put it together a day ahead of serving.
